Feb. 10-11th FIFA international days - Important match ups

Aside from our own WCQ with S. Korea, there's also a legendary match up with 2 of the world's best teams

    Italy vs. Brazil in London

( Last meeting these 2 teams had ended 3-3 )
Lippi is planning on using a mixed squad with the youth and the veterans. They're also going to have another game this summer for Confederations Cup.

Any other good match ups in those dates? go ahead and list them

uhm i guess it will be a good game. But legendary? No legendary would be spain and Brazil. Champions of Europe and Champions of South America.

Feb 11 Brazil v. Italy at the Emirates
The match, a repeat of the 1994 World Cup final, matches two nations who have won an incredible nine World Cup victories between them. Brazil have made seven World Cup Final appearances in their history, winning five, with Italy winning four of their six World Cup Final appearances, including their victory in the last tournament in Germany in 2006.

      Dead even overall.

      12 games
      5 wins, 5 losses, 2 draws
      19 goals each

      Feb 11 USA v. Mexico
This is the opening game for both countries in the final round of CONCACAF qualifying. Mexico looked shaky on its travels in the last round and it will be interesting to see how they play in what will be a packed (and cold) pro-US crowd.

      Feb 11 Spain v. England
International friendlies for England have taken on more importance for England under Fabio Capello. This game not only matches the reigning European Champions and a hot England team.

Well, none of the friendlies are "important," but if you mean big matches then look no further than Iceland vs. Liechtenstein.

The world cares too. I remember Iran-Japan in Azadi stadium as broadcast by every Eurosport network live. The commentators were amazed by the crowd and the game was actually good too.
Iran-South Korea will be the same and hopefully Iran wins.

the "big" match days are usually boring as hell when it comes to friendlies..i doubt there will be much excitement in these matches (i personally would rather watch SK-Iran over France-Argentina...but thats just me...plus i have Denmark-Greece to watch lol)
