Emre is probably their best player now, but my favorite Turkish player of all time is Sergen.

Man that guy was/is amazing; he's got an unique ball controle and is very techniqual. He could've been a great player if he was more seriously about only football during his career.
Persian Pride running through my veins!

Btw, I've heard that Hakan Sukur, Rustu, and Hassan Sas are Kurdish! Can you confirm this?

I think only Rustu is Kurdish. The rest are Turk.

Kurds will say anything, lol. Rushtu was supposedly the only one, and I know a player from Diyarbakr Hatipotli Cihan, who was apart of the team. Other then those 2 nope.

I wish I could take credit for it Makaveli, but it's off the net. But yeah it's nice best moments from the film.

Cihan Haspolatli (Turkish: Cihan Haspolatlı), born on January 4, 1980 in Diyarbakır, Turkey is a Turkish football player in midfield position. He is currently playing for Galatasaray. Formerly, he played for Kocaelispor....I'm assuming but I'm pretty sure he's Kurdish, not many Turks from Diyarbakr.

Alpay? Yah he's crazy he kicked some fan in this ass when they went on the pitch in EPL, he didn't think twice about. He flicked Beckham in the nose, made fun of him. He's quite good at annoying players, and was a hard nose tackler.

Hasan Sas !!! ......... I remember Tuguy was dismissed from the team during a european championship or the previous World Cup because he didn't want to be subbed out of a game and showed it buy throwing his shingaurds at the coach. ........ but anyhow they're all quality players, I don't think Hakan Suker really cut it for the other big euro leagues. He always performed whenever playing for Galatasary.

It's a tough one, there's been so many great players in Turkish Football over the last 10 years but I'd have to pick Emre although special mentions also to Bulent, Tugay and Ilhan.
