nice attendance figures for the j-league and australia...and yea teams like yankees and red sox get big crowds but some teams have no fan support (even tampa bay wasnt selling out last season when they were on the verge of becoming baseballs biggest upset!)

as for the bundesliga your likely never to see the westfalenstadion or the HSH arena have more than 1000 empty seats lol

They should calculate it by like average percent of stadiums full or something like that so bigger stadiums don't automatically get the advantage..

The NFL only has 256. Considering that, MLB's numbers are actually quite pitiful. Average attendance is the only credible indicator.

I doubt it. In fact if they played less often, MLB's popularity would decline even quicker than it already is.
