Don't worry they will do the world cup, they have a very easy group, Zambia, Algeria and Rwanda, the tie againts Zambia was just a bad luck.
Algeria have a very talented team, most of which play in Europe. Most play in France, and there are some in other places like Nadir Belhadj and Hameur Bouazza (England), Madjid Bougherra (Rangers), and Kamel Ghilas (Celta Vigo).
Problem is the CAF qualifiers are so tough with such few World Cup slots allowed to them that many of these talented teams miss out each time, so you don't really hear about most African teams besides the ones that actually qualify.
Against Zambia you're right.. bad luck. The ball simply refused to go in the net in the second half. And we also played bad, which is what I'm most concerned about (besides the off the field crap suddenly springing up).
Egypt can not miss easy points against teams like Zambia and Rwanda. Especially at home. I would understand if they tie or lose in Algeria, but tying at home against Zambia? Unacceptable.
Anyways, if Egypt qualifies and Iran doesn't then I lose $20.
pharaoh rafik djebbour of AEK is on a goal-scoring spree...guy scores every game!, hes gonna give the egyptian defence troubles, but id like to see egypt take this one down...there is absolutely no excuse for egypt not to qualify from this group!!

I know man, my Algerian friend won't stop talking about Djebbour . Our defense is already in shambles as it is.
Algeria is one of the toughest places for opponents to come into and play. You simply cannot drop points at home when only the group winner qualifies, so I'm not sure how much hope to hold out given we've already stumbled.
I'm honestly not so sure I'll follow football much anymore if we fail to qualify again.

And if neither of us qualify? We can be on suicide watch together
Thanks to those supporting us btw. Reps all around .

Egypt team is much more talented than Algeria, Algeria had a tie againts Rwanda, they could not even score againts Rwanda, 20-25 years ago Algeria had the best team in Africa, since the early 90s their team decline, so don't worry there is no way Algeria would do the WC instead of Egypt, the pharoah are the african champion and have a very easy group.

Algeria's peak was definitely the 80s but they do have a talented pool all playing their trade in Europe. I know most wouldn't think of Rwanda as anything but a joke, but even Nigeria couldn't win there in the last qualifiers. Also, Rwanda beat Morocco 3-1 in the previous round.

Yo Demis I heard Djebbour was taken off the field on a stretcher today for what appears to be a knee injury. Any word on how serious?
Egyptian striker Emad Meteb tore his ACL yesterday playing for Al-Ittihad Jeddah
Al-Hadari banned for four months - AhliIf the 36-year-old serves a four-month suspension, he will miss Egypt's World Cup qualifiers against Algeria, Rwanda and Zambia.
However, he will be available for Egypt's Confederations Cup campaign in June.
