well regarding germany, its not obligatory for the clubs to let their players participate in this tournament (they're in the middle of the season). so 25 (!) players rejected the invitation for this tournament! its really crazy. thats why matthias sammer is so pissed of...he said thats an embarrassement for germany to go to a wc with such a squad
