I'm from Ohio...so obviously im gonna be a Cavs fan
and a family friend knew/was friends with Hakeem...so I've been a Rockets fan since I was a kid (younger than 10)
i follow both teams...but when they play each other im neutral
everywhere you go ppl claim to be Lakers fans, how many claim to be Cavs or Rockets fans? they are 2 non-trendy teams
so whats your reasoning for following the trendier of the 2 LA teams?
and when were the Rockets ever bad?

stop all the nonesense you guys!! I know I know, Kobe is TOO good and its not fair blah blah blah. Dont be the Ron Fartest of PFDC just stop talking and let the series be.
13 NBA final appearances, 3 NBA championships, an unmatched till this date 33 game winning streak the highest in all pro sports. All of this between 1960 and 1984 BEFORE the clippers even moved to LA!
This is why laker fans are laker fans. This is not like the mets and yankees or the jets and giants. Been living in so cal for 17 years have only seen TWO clipper fans upclose and personal. I dont even know where they are. I only see them on TV when a clipper game is on.
You love your team and good for you. We love our team nobody is wrong here. There is no need for below the belt shots like pointing to Kobe's ofcourt issues. That just means you cant find any other flaws!!
And Turkum jaan, you know when it comes to my friends on PFDC You are in the top 5, but I am not gonna hold back here. Afterall its my lakers! They suck and if it wasn't for Kobe they would be in a 0-3 hole but they are still my lakers so regarding your post about NBA and Kobe, it basically proves the opposite of what you said. If kobe's elbow was to the neck, he would been suspended. That just proves everything the guys on TNT, jalen rose, avery johnson, mark jackson van gundy (the list goes on) said was true and his elbow wasnt to the throat. Was it a flagrant foul? maybe but this is PLAYOFF basketball. for your newbies, who ahve never seen this before like TMAC this is how it should be. So get used to it. If it wasnt for this type of physical play the pistons would have no championships instead of 3 (RIP chuck daly).

I hope Kobe does it again. Love it when fartest is begging the refs to throw Kobe out
btw, I am still drooling over Kobe's 3 last night which was much more impressive than the one Lebron did becasue it was opposite of his body movement and not in the same direction. But I am even more drooling over that allstar game move he made in game 2 when he passed it to himself by hitting the board. That was something
and kev I agree with what you said before, this series is over in 5----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

as for lebron, a MAGNIFICENT performance!! He truly is the most dominant player in the NBA right now. Not the best player but certainly the most dominant.
Cant wait for him to face a real team so I can see what he is really made of and I am not being sarcastic hereLast edited by yashar_fasihnia; 05-09-2009, 09:11 PM.----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

Stern will get what he wants in LA-CLE final...
would have definitely made the drive to Cleveland had it been Rockets-Cavs
still considering going up tho...
