props to the rockets for SHOWING up!! I called my best friend who is also a bball nut and hae had taken his wife and mom out for mothers day. He was under the impression that the game was a night time game so when I told him the yao is out and the lakers are trailing by over 20, the first thing he said (and he is not a laker fan): it must be becasue Yao is out and without him the rockets are quicker and I was stunned that someone who wasnt even watching the game knew EXACTLY what was going on!

In the long run with no Yao the rockets will get hurt but for this one game it helped them. But the lakers WILL adjust just like they adjusted after game 1.

This is good for the lakers. Should they advance to the later rounds these type of high intensity must win situations builds a team character just like it did for Boston last year after going through two 7 and one 6 game series before the finals while the lakers were cruising in the west. We all saw what happened in the finals.

What doesnt kill you will make you stronger and I am just hoping it wouldn't kill the lakers!

LeBron and the Cavs are going to steamroll through this playoffs. LeBron will be better than Mike or at least have better stats, numbers and accolades once its said and done.
