In the weakest eastern conference in the history of the NBA evident by what happened in the finals against an OLD washed up san antonio team.

Between 2004 when the pistons beat the lakers and last year when boston beat the lakers whoever won or made it to the finals basically got their by default since nobody in the entire NBA was good but somebody had to win it!! we couldnt say there shouldnt be any champion cuz nobody is good!

If the kings of 2002, portland of 2000, sonics of 96, jazz of 97 and 98 were in the league over the years 2005-2007. each one woulda been easily a 3 time defending champion. They might have even gone undefeated. The NBA had been very weak until the new boston team was built.

as for your last post. I believe Houston won by 12 points and the lakers won by 40. I dont think it takes a statistician to see the diff!
