i mean it's not necessarily rich compared to l.a. at the time, nice $450 - 550K homes (8,000 sq ft++ homes), this was a while back. Same house in l.a. $1 Million USD at that time (now 3 - 4 million depending on area even with this housing market). houston has generally always been a cheap city and your net worth definitely does you good down here

damn thats tight, olajuwon lived down the street from me for almost 5 years, alot of athletes from the rockets, astros, oilers at the time lived here, now most have moved to a suburb called sugarland. including shaq, yao, t-mac, andre johnson i mean i can go on

lol forget Vancouver, there is no way a NBA team will come to Vancouver after the Grizzlies disaster. I don't know why Seatle lost their team since its a wealthy city, but i don't think another team will come in the city, maybe they should move to New-York, even if the Knicks are there they could have another NBA team, they 2 teams in NFL, 2 teams in MLB, 2 teams in the NHL, why not 2 in the NBA??? The Clippers are useless in L.A. they should move the team.

i know there were some allegations that Hakeem was funding terrorists through his mosque in Houston (total BS)...

I think he's had a major role helping the muslim's image in the eyes of many houstonians...correct me if im wrong
