                schuster says hi

Barcelona Are Worried By Real Madrid - Bernd Schuster

The former coach believes that it will be a close match with not many goals...
"Even though at the moment we are all frightened by the Mexican flu, there is another virus, that existed during my time as a player, called madriditis, and that is effecting Barcelona," he told Cuatro.

"They know that Madrid are the only ones who can stop them, who can beat them to the title. The problem has not existed in Madrid, but in Barcelona, where they are aware of what can happen.
"Both sides are going to suffer. The game is very special and nobody will be relaxed. I do not expect a high scoring match."
As for the tactical approach to the game, the former Getafe boss is not expecting too many changes from either team.
"Barca will stick with their normal 4-3-3 which has served them so well, I do not think they will change anything. Madrid are more defensive now, but that security at the back has become important," he said.
"Each team has two important absences and they will have to figure how they are going to resolve them."

if i was barca i would be afraid of madriditis also, seeing that it's symptoms include wastefull spending without achieving anything, an ego the size of the moon, and constant flashbacks of how they used to be good. Yikes!!!

Ronaldo: Real Madrid Will Beat Barcelona 2-0; Raul, Sergio Ramos Will Score

O Fenomeno is following in the footsteps of one of his country’s all-time greats, Pele, by predicting the score of a mammoth game…

If there’s one player who knows all about El Clasico, it is Ronaldo.

The Brazilian goalscoring sensation played in eight editions of the fiery Spanish derbi altogether, two with Barcelona and six with Real Madrid, scoring five goals in total (one for Barca and four for Madrid).

Having left Los Blancos for Milan back in 2007 and now resurrecting his career at Corinthians, where he has already scored nine goals in 11 games, O Fenomeno left no doubt as to where his allegiance lies when he was asked to predict the outcome of this Saturday’s showdown.

“Barcelona are a great team who are fighting for everything, but Madrid have always had this tradition of a fighter and they will push Barca for the title right until the last minute,” he said in a phone interview with AS.

“For this reason, I believe Madrid are going to win because it’s vital to them and because it will be played at the Bernabeu, a ground that puts a lot of pressure on opponents, and even more so if you are Barca. It will be a great atmosphere.”

When pressed for the scoreline and who he thinks will be the heroes of the night, Ronaldo said, “Madrid will win 2-0, with goals from Raul and Sergio Ramos, who will score with his head from a corner.”

The 32-year-old then admitted that he will be watching the game: “Of course I will be watching from Brazil. My heart is with Real Madrid. I feel like a Madridista still and I have a son who is also a Madridista.

“Both of us are going to cheer Madrid on for the victory. Hopefully, the win will lead them to the league title at the end.”

the key matchup for Real in my opinion is that of Las vs. Xavi. If las doesn't win that one, Madrid will lose. If Las does win that one, then it will be 50-50

what? i just mentioned that he was injured, i never said that he was as imortant as puyol. it's not a big deal at all. i think barca would own madrid even if puyol was missing.

marquez and puyol are first choice for central def btw..

well they have both been starting this season because of abidal's being out of form/having a long term injury, so with puyol on the lb they both could play. but if our defence was 100% injury free, puyol and marquez would start at central defense..

btw again i'm not making a big deal out of this, i wont use it as a excuse (like you will probably do with pepe) if barca lose
