the bet thread

the last time i bet was about 2 years ago...but today i passed this store that lets you bet on footymatches so i decided i'll give it a try again. (i don't want to motivate any members here to go and bet, especially when you can't control yourself).


but for those who bet too every now and then, why don't we put our last few braincells togheter and try to find some good matches with decent chances of winning?

there are always good games to bet on..for example...on saturday arsenal will be playing portmouth away...with a 1/2 goal spread in arsenals favour..meaning arsenal only have to score 1 goal to cover your bet... there are always decent spreads

i bet 50dollars on montenegro-italy for italy to win by 1/2 (by 1 goal), and obviously i won, i should have put down 300 for that bet

I bet if you created a thread concentrating on the EPL or something and then providing a questionaire/poll on a game etc... people would start to respond.

i'm thinking about betting on the el classico

last time around, i bet on 3 games, barca - real (I bet that barca would win by 2+ goals), man utd - tottenham and some other game i dont remember

of course united had to lose when tottenham were in the worst form ever if they had won i would have been $200 richer

but to make up for it, i bet on 3 secure games with low odds the next day to win back the money i lost, so i didn't actually lose anything
