specially when the team you're playing is the likes of Chelsea, man u with great players and defenders.
Last year, Against ManU , Barca dominated but could only find 1-2 very good chances which they didnt score.
in England it was a open game and I really didnt expect Barca to play that well. Barca was in horrible form that time, 3rd in the league losing to madrid 4-1, and man u was the champions in england, i thought we played a good game and had just as much chances as man u.
But the difference was that wonder goal from scholes

Anyway, a while back I said I hoped Madrid shape-up and get some good players, management ... they are too easy to beat! ... so plz wish us the best, Madrid Fans, we're representing La Liga and the side that whipped your arses 6-2. You can at least go around and say the champions of Europe beat us 6-2 ... it would increase your reputation points

Barca dominated possession and mostly in the middle of the park. But in terms of goal chances it was Chelsea that dominated. That's the thing with Barca. They keep the ball really well in the middle and when teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and United flood their own half Barca look bereft of ideas.

And not that it's simply a simple tactic like that because the players in those teams that pull it off are in the highest caliber and require the greatest amount of organisation to stop Barca. But again, look at the match, you guys had only 3 real chances in the 180 minutes of football.

Using the same tactic over and over again makes teams predictable, esp. against those teams that know how to deal with them and take their chances.

Adaptability wins football teams trophies consistently

The eto'o one is definitely a penalty, no question about it. An absolute penalty. Ballack shoots the ball, Eto'o turns around and brings up both his arms in the line of the ball. He stopped the ball with his arms, and no way that was not intentional. The ball didn't hit his arm, his arm hit the ball, 100% penalty. Funny thing is that the ref was only 3 or 4 meters away from it.

                Proof: look from 1.00

you don't even have to hit play, the frame were it's stopped says it all.
look at were the ball is, what Eto'o is doing and where the ref stands, where he's looking...
After seeing this frame it's shocking that he didn'tblew his whistle .

                  i see, thank you

conspiracy theory here: u think the ref was instructed to assist, if possible, barca to win to avoid repeating last year's final which would also be an all english final?

                      meh i wouldn't call it
and you cant say it was intentional.... look at the distance from ballack to him, he clearly didn't want to get shot in the face with a hard ball... his hands were already in air, he swiveled hips, turned... the ball hit him not even up to the elbow... not a "HAND" ball from what i just saw

Well SH, I now that if Chelsea was Iran and Barca was Saudi, we were on our way to kill the ref now.

A hand ball is everything from the shoulder bellow, the should have called it arm ball, but that's a whole other thing.
Anyways, just look carefully what happens. When the replay starts hit the pause button and look at it in slow motion. then you can see that Eto'o is looking at the ball even before Ballack has even hit it. He's looking at it and already knows the line of the ball. Then he starts putting his arms in the AIR and not near his head, also even before Ballack has hit the ball. Just after Ballack hits the ball his hands are already in the line of the ball and not near his head to protect his head. He remains keeping his arms that way till after the ball has hit his arms.
If that just was a reflex, first off all his whole arm would be around his head to protect it properly and second off all the action would have started atleast after Ballack had hit the ball.
And even if it was a reflex still it should have been a penalty as his arms weren't around his head but in the air. So the ball didn't hit his arm, but his arm hit the ball. That's when you give a penalty even if it was just a reflex.
And the ref was watching the whole thing.

                                Lol yeah, you're are right.

Although the ref just sucked, if he wanted Barca to win he wouldn't red carded them.
