      If Americans actually loved football (soccer) like they did American football etc. they'd be one of the best teams. They have great athletes and cutting-edge development and infrastructure.

      Can you imagine LeBron as a soccer player ... damn! Chris Paul would be like Makelele :d

        wow what a joke. i am sure no other country where soccer is number 1 has 6'8 guys who are really fit. but strangely none of them play for their national teams. they would only be able to succeed in the physical aspect. those giants would never have enough skill to play. the only positions they could succeed in is keeper and center back.

            yeeeeeeeeeeeeea if they liked it and spent money like they do with baseball, nfl, nba etc they would have one of the best leagues also.

            But you know what im glad they are shit, its refreshing to see a sport (biggest sport in the world) dominated by european teams and leagues. Europe is so much nicer then USA, and alot of Americans never get to experience it.

              the huge guys like the football and basketball players wont make it cuz of what milad said above

              BUT us would actually be one of the best if they showed more soccer on tv and hyped it up a bit more.....but there are forces inside US that wont allow that to happpen becuz the popularity of sports like football, baseball, etc...would go down....therefore they wont make as much $$$$$$$$

              u see its all about $$$$ they cant throw commercials in the middle of soccer games...look at how much advertising money they get from commercials in basketball.....the game is actually 48 min....but they last for 150 min! that means every game, about 100 min. of commercials alone!
