bremen were unlucky to have their best midfielder, diego and their best striker, hugo almeyda suspended and their starting defender per mertesacker injured.

shakhtar played better than bremen, although bremen scored 2 goals, one of which was called offside (correctly) and the other was called a foul (not sure if it was a foul or not) and they could have had a penalty as well.

their GK, tim wiese was in my opinion very poor on both goals conceded. he was also the culprit a few years back when they were about to knock out juventus in the champions league but tim wiese dropped a cross and emerson slotted the loose ball into the empty net the last dying minutes.
he is very inconsistent. some games he is a wall, in some other games, he concedes the easiest of goals.

anyways, they still have the finals of the pokal cup (the german cup) to play against leverkusen, so they can atleast win something and put an end to their disaster season. they are 10th in the bundesliga!
