We sure will. We went from having Premier League strikers to having to start guys who've only played Tersana and Abou Qeer Fertilizers . And I know he can be a prick but refusing to include Mido with both of your regular starting strikers out with injury is borderline ludicrous. But I guess you can relate with Karim inexcusably being left out. Hopefully Zidan stays healthy and can be a nice wild card.

At this point the fans are at rock bottom. It's been such a steep and rapid fall from grace that I don't think it's hit us yet. I'll be surprised if we score a goal. At this point I just hope we play brave for 90 minutes every match. Anything else I can forgive. That, and don't lose to the U.S.

As for Iraq. Your tournament depends on the opener Sunday in my view. You have what it takes to beat South Africa and a semi-final appearance is not unrealistic at all.
