dont doubt the US, even though their rankin is way too high, i think they will get at least 2 wins from their group or just advance as the 2nd place team from the group. Mark my words, they had a B/C team playing infront of 70,000ppl with Germany at home and they were able to hold Germany for 70 min. Now thats good.

The game changed in the 2nd-half when Mastroeni was taken out and the U.S. lost their cohesion. Germany's midfielders took advantage of this, and began to press on the right, taking advantage somewhat of Gibbs pushing up, and Berhalter looking quite lost and overmatched in the middle.
A significantly undermanned U.S. team matched up for 45 minutes with what was pretty much Germany's World Cup squad. That being said, some individual mistakes, poor midfield play, lack of depth, and a strong Germany side killed the U.S. in the second.

Anyways the team that played today was hardly even a b-team. Bruce Arena was even trying players taht had never had a single cap for the team before. Despite all this the US really held up good. Im a firm believer taht they'll dominate in the world cup. you can count on it

I have been living in the United States for the last three months. I studied English resolutely as a young boy in France, hence my sterling language skill.

I mean come on dude think for a second, Italy and Czech...2 of the BEST in EUROPE! Plus a strong african side of Ghana, I dont know how in the world you can imagine US getting out of that group! and let alone to the semi-finals??? wow bro, JUST WOW. And those MLS "stars" aint shit, they got 2 or 3 worthy players in my opinion dont buy into what this country says about themselves all the time, truth is they suck, or average.
