I think C.Ronaldo needs to play against a few teams with heavy defense. And diversify his play. Surely, the premier is arguably the best league, but I think c.ronaldo could even become better in the serie a, where alot of teams play the long ball. He could test himself and take his game to even greater heights. I was really dissapointed in the way he played against barca, he was foreign to their shelakhteh defense that was without 3 starters (daniel alves, abidal and marquez)

exactly. Thats why i dont mind seeing him either in spain or italy, i like to see what he's really made of. Henry was unsuccessful his first 2 years in spain and he was lucky they gave him enough chances and he finally found his touch this year. C. ronaldo on the other hand is not so patient, he gets frustrated real quick so who knows maybe he'll show the world he's really not all that.

I agree with your post in a sense, that he hasn't played vs another Italian team to be judged. He has played vs Roma(yes, it doesn't represent whole of seria a), but he was causing them all sorts of problems. I disagree with they only have Mexes as a decent defender, Panucci is not bad, plus they have De Rossi + Pizzaro defending the back four providing protection.
I was really dissapointed in the way he played vs Barca, but can you blame him? In the final, he was played out of position. This probably needs another topic, but Sir Alex Ferguson played the wrong decision playing Ronaldo through the middle. He should've played Ronaldo in natural out wide to test the ageing Sylvinho + Puyol. We had a winger playing as a striker (Ronaldo), and a striker playing as a winger (Rooney)

Ektaban, I am talking about last years game, where we won 0-2, where not many teams can win at Rome, and Ronaldo single handedly did. lol, so when Ronaldo does well, it is rare? and when he doesn't perform (champions league final), people give him stick, and its not so rare? Thats not really how it works.

I don't watch seria A. From what i have heard, it seems like a tough league to play in for the attackers. I still think Ronaldo will cut it in, and make it in?

In a nutshell, If Ronaldo was to leave, I still don't think the Seria A would attract him enough. I hope he doesn't leave for a good few years to come, even though he has won everything in England, he can still do much more, and do it again, and become one of the greats.

serie a is his natural habitat, attitude-wise.

yea sure EPL is one of the top 3 leagues...but its not as rough on defense as italy....u see how much open space the defenders give the players in that leage? ronaldo can easily just walk the ball into the box without anyone trying to get the ball from him.....anyway i wouldnt mind seeing him in spain or italy

Oh, i forgot about the Inter Milan match too.. Ronaldo also played well in that (home and away).

All the Seria A teams in Champions League got knocked out by Premiership clubs
            Juventus by Chelsea.
            Inter Milan by Manchester United.
            Roma by Arsenal.

So it makes absolute no sense by Ronaldo going down a level to play in the Serie A.

so what makes spanish league better? only cuz of barca?

i dont understand when people judge leagues by champions league results. Tournaments are not really the best way of judging things cuz of how teams get matched up.

what about UEFA cup? does it mean eastern euro teams are better than english, spanish, italian, german teams?? cuz they're the ones who always win....

anyway i understand what ur saying but i dont agree with the way people judge leagues and whos better or not....every team is different and every game is different.....

we shouldnt use CL final to say one league is better than another. i have always said that this is stupid.

you wanna know why la liga is the best? simple. watch it next season.

c ronaldo will be really bad in laliga because of all the technical players like himself, know how to handle him, teams wont defend like they do in italy or p-league but the players can get the ball off ronaldo easier. just watch him against barca in the last 3 matches, or the 2 matches against villarriaal.

                  GRACIAS PEP

To be fair Henry was played out of position. A position that he had been playing his whole career

it's really not the level of play that will make Ronaldo stumble, but the style of play. Wingers and forwards don't have nearly as much space or time in the Seria A as they do in the EPL (of course some teams such as inter to like to attack with wingbacks alot, but they are the exception to the rule).
