He is actually the top priority for Bayern becasue he is not getting much play time at Barca. I think he would be good, he is a great player and not as influential as Ballack so there is alwasy a chance ALi will do better in training and get more games.

I think he's much more influential which is the reason Bayern are after him, sure the attacking skill is nothing compared to him, but it's been made evident by Bayern that personality is just as important, and I guess they don't believe Ballack is the type of leader they need.
If he's signed and Ballack leaves it'll be hard to predict what would happen to Karimi, as Demichelis and Bommel are more or less the same player and so with both of them on the pitch that would mean they're very defensive which would cut into Karimi's time...or maybe not. If only one of them play then Karimi is the prime replacement for that attacking mid-field position Ballack is leaving open. I'm sure Magath will think of something.
