I know this is a sensitive topic for some, but I just wanted to know if anyone does it and if they are doing it for the Confederations Cup. We could share tips on how to bet on the games to make money etc... Anyways an interesting game is USA vs. SPAIN. USA has 25-1 odds meaning... if you bet 10 dollars you make 250 dollars if USA wins. I was thinking of a strategy to bet that amount on USA incase they somehow pull a miracle, and then put like 50 dollars on Spain, this way it's a win win situation. But I think I'm missing something, because it seems way too easy to make money here.

Anyway, I guess you are putting on win, not on which team will advance to the final, so a draw after 90 mins will cost you 60 bucks.

If you put on which team advances, 2-way, it will not payoff to do it, the odds are set that you cannot have a win-win situation.

yeah that was my mistake, the 25-1 was for USA winning the confederations cup OUTRIGHT. Which now doesn't seem like a bad investment since they have 1 team to go after upsetting a Spanish side that is almost equal to Brazil at the moment.

I talked to a friend about betting, but I'll check out the betfair/ bet trading system too.

i read on yahoo sports that some guy bet $50 that USA would win the Confederations Cup, at 999 to 1 odds! he was the only guy to bet on USA too.
