We don't live in a utopian society, and there will always be the odd people out in society who due to their own insecurities seek to hurt others. england put up stricter hate speech laws and it has clamped down on the problem at games, italy should do the same.

A 21 year old professional soccer player crying because some away fans were making fun of him? Boo hoo. Italian fans are passionate about their teams, and unfortunately they will do anything to reduce the morale of the opposing players. It is nothing new, and it won't change. If he doesn't like it, he should move from Italy.

This matter is beyond clubs, the Italian league officials and so on - its an ongoing problem that will keep occuring, no matter how much progress is made, and something has to be done.

The "everyone's entitled to their own opinion" argument doesn't hold for some things. For instance, i can say, it is my opinion that all black people should be called. I mean, i'm entitled to my own opinion aren't I? - and i am in no way trying to say that's what the other members have been saying, just an example, so don't blow it out of proportion. Opinions can be accepted up to a certain point, then it just becomes criminal.
