its f-cked up how they cant even give haddadi a chance. How much more proof do they want?? this guy comes in every time and puts up good games, yet they give him 2min. and they sit him. If they would've invested in haddadi instead of thabeet, they would've been better off.

i just hope the coaches and management sit down and evaluate these games and finally wake up and see that haddadi is way above thabeet. Let hamed get some experience this year and develop thabeet for the year after. I hope they wont be stupid enough to invest in making thabeet an all-star for this year, hence giving him all the min.

At this point, i just hope they trade haddadi, alot of teams in nba dont have big men or only have one...he can find a home somewhere where he can get 15-20min/game

The raptors or the Clippers are two teams that should this.
Both cities have playing time for him and both cities have a large Iranian population so that's a boost in ticket sells.

clippers already have two high-profile centers in kaman and camby, so that is not a feasible option and toronto has bosh, and is capped out with a full roster, so that is unrealistic as well.

houston, though with the loss of yao ming is a feasible option; if daryl morey has seen haddadi play lately is another question entirely, because he is known for actively seeking good, bargain players.....

haddadi wont be able to do anything in the NBA until he gets stronger, he is way to skinny for a center

and he also needs to improve his vert. he jumps very low.

he has the skills to be a good NBA player

what other players do you guys think could make the NBA from Iran?

having watched him play so much his strengh really doesnt seem like that big of an issue, but his vertical definitely is, he goes in for layups when he should be throwing it down

the only other player i think has nba level talent for iran is nikkah bahrami...problem is talented 6'7" small forwards are a dime a dozen

i thought for a while arsalan kazemi could make some noise after being recuited by thoe top tier schools, but him going to rice instead really puts a question mark next to him for me

I think that we will get another Iranian into the NBA, not this upcoming season but the one after that

Nikkhah has great potential to make it into NBA, i have a feeling he will one day, its hard for him though.

Looks can be deceiving...yes looking at his frame he seems skinny BUT he's very strong. I've seen him over and over against big guys and it doesnt seem to be a problem. No one really punks him around and they cant back him up too much either...he's good at holding them back.

his jumping...i think he can its just that he doesnt. He needs to learn to jump more and be more aggressive when close to the basket.

i think only thing holding him back is the english. Its hard for the coach and players to communicate with him and thats a huge problem.
