is this tornement important?

Yes and No.
This tournament has allowed chances to some 2nd string Iranian players to get playing chance against Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei B, and Japan. Our coach will get to see who has the talent to be a vital part of the upcoming championship.

And of course winning the tournament will get them some good $$$$ and also good confidence going into the Asian Championship.

After seeing the games I believe all the teams are taking this cup seriously after seeing yesterday when Iran took the lead which made Lebanon lose their cool getting a player fouled out like Haddadi had been and one being sent off for unsportmanship behavior (kicking the ball )

^9 players including Haddadi off the Iranian team were food poisoned after eating their food at night in the hotel in Taipei they were staying at. This was the night before this Chinese Taipei game. So they didn't play in the game.
