12 year old player makes professional debut

A 12-year-old boy made his first division debut in Bolivia, the youngest ever in South America, and strikers called Gutierrez scored hat-tricks in Chile and Colombia at the weekend.

Mauricio Baldivieso, who turns 13 on Wednesday, came on as a substitute for the last nine minutes of Aurora’s match away to La Paz, a 1-0 defeat, in the Clausura championship at the weekend.

“I’m very proud, he’s got a lot of talent,” said the boy’s father, Aurora coach and Bolivian 1994 World Cup midfielder Julio Cesar Baldivieso.

Baldivieso senior, in the stands serving a suspension, was much less happy though with the rough marking by Henry Alaca that left his son in tears, calling the defender a criminal and slamming the referee for not booking him.

Media in Bolivia and neighbouring countries said the previous youngest debutant in South American football was Peruvian Fernando Garcia, who was just short of his 14th birthday in 2001.

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Pretty stupid if you ask me (I know, noone asked me ). No need to put this guy under such huge pressure that early. It's surely not good for his development and only helping daddies ego and to get the record.

Exactly, especially as the father himself puts it he "was much less happy though with the rough marking by Henry Alaca that left his son in tears".

        Yup a true pro.

i saw his debut in the news and he got fouled just immediately. 12 years is way too young....his body will be dead meat with age of 20!
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

mojtaba, my 12 year old nephew can easily outplay 70 percent of the old and young irani homeboys in the sunday morning game...!! the only problem with him is that he is really small framed lil guy and i usually dont let him play in our games all too often because he gets roughed up by some of the nareh khars there..!!
he made the kansas select U14 team and was asked to join the team after one tryout..!! but it was kinda of a rip off $$$ and his dad didnt let him join...!!
if he was bigger physically i am sure he could play with guys twice his age at the top competitive levels..!!

Bet his dad wanted him to become part of the first team

He will be finished by the time he reaches 21. Either by injury, pressure, or lack of confidence.

Or continuous crying after getting constantly fouled.
