if someone judges a team based on preseason then im sorry theyre just stupid. preseason is a time for managers to try new tactics with new and developing players as well as some experienced players. no team should ever be judged its potential based on preseason performances. if you do rate a team because of a preseason result then ur mind is fuked

lol i watched the whole game. the whole team was basically young and inexperienced with only carragher,kuyt, agger and maybe babel from the normal team. and in the 2nd half similar except they went off and arbeloa, doessena, mascherano came on. our goal was from a long ball by carragher to babel who scored. in the 78th minute torres came on and it was as if u were watching a different game. suddenly it all came to life and was exciting. torres with his 1st touch just took the ball through the heart of defence and almost scored. then the next one he played an inch perfect ball through 2 defenders to voronin who missed a 1 on 1. all said the conditions were not that good either. rain was pooring down on the players.
