FIBA Asia Championship 2009

It is not that far from now, so i decided to make a thread, all news regarding our basketball team and the Asian championship will be here, the tournament will start August 6th- August 16th, hosted by China.

Here are the groups:

Japan
Korea
Phillippines
Sri Lanka

Group B:
Iran
Chinese Taipei
Kuwait
Uzbekistan

Group C:
China
India
Kazakhstan
Qatar

Group D:
Indonesia
Jordan
Lebanon
UAE

Teams to look out for: Iran,China, Jordan, Lebanon, possibly even Chinese Taipei

We have a great chance to win this whole tournament, considering we are the defending asian champs, good luck to our boys!

also look out for South Korea, they are way better than this than they were in William Jones Cup. They beat Iran without Haddadi though. In Jones Cup they were missing their 2.28 m player and didn't have a coach because he was on holiday lol
