THATS MYYYYYYYYY BOOOOOOOOOOOI!! i can't wait for the season to start.. can we like fast forward already lol (like the movie click)

i love this article, im not gonna hate gordon (yet! lol) cause Im sure he would have stayed wit bulls, but since bulls are so fcking cheap they just let this great player go... it seems like bulls front office forgot that one of the reason we pushed and gave celtics hard time was because of gordon.. of course besides my man ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!

Why Bulls fans will hate Ben Gordon

Remembering the Chicago Bulls of the early and late 90's, you remember the glory, packed stadiums and the playoff success.

Making the playoffs wasn't a goal going into the season, being the last team standing was expected.

While the success is something we always remember first, what isn't talked about much is the battles that made those Finals victories that much greater.

The Bad Boys, Patrick Ewings, John Starks, The Reggie Millers,Karl Malones, etc.

All were great players, but were thorns in the Bulls backside and always seemed to push us to the limit.

Just mentioning some of those name in local barbershops or anywhere around the city. you're sure to get some distasteful things said about them.

What does Ben Gordon have to do with this?

Nothing now, but soon, his name will become just as hated as the previous mentioned.

The Bulls will have a solid 2009-2010 season, but losing Gordon is going to be felt in those moments where there simply isn't anyone willing to step up and take that pressure.

True, they have Derrick Rose, who will undoubtedly be the one with the ball in his hands when the game is in the final seconds, but what happens if the ball is kept out of his hands?

Do you trust Luol Deng or John Salmons to come through?

Also, losing Gordon to the Detroit Pistons (a franchise Bulls fans are well acquainted with) means we will being seeing him 4 times during the regular season and if you believe it when he's sure to say 'It's just another game,' you'd be very naive.

          There is also the playoffs.

Both teams are headed in different directions as of now, but both have high hopes for the summer of 2010. It's also worth noting that when Pistons GM, Joe Dumars wants somebody, he goes and gets them

The Eastern Conference is almost locked at the top-3 spots by Orlando, Cleveland and Boston and you can even say the Toronto and the Atlanta will be fighting over possession of the number 4 spot, but after that, it's all fair game.

If you remember, just last season, the Bulls and the Pistons were not only in a race to clinching a playoff berth, but also for the right not to play the Cavaliers in the first round. The Bulls won the season series 3-1 and Gordon averaged 20ppg, 4 rpg and 4 apg during those four games.

Most critics of Gordon's game say the usual, no defense, iffy ball-handling, bad shot-taker, undersized, whatever, whatever. The point is, Gordon makes shots and had absolutely no fear when it comes to taking a shot. Had it not been for him, the Bulls would have been swept from the playoffs as easily as the Pistons were.

How many times have you watched him and thought, why does he keep shooting, only to end up cheering him on as those shots are falling when they're needed most?

Knowing how hot he can get, is that someone you want your team having to deal with going forward, especially when he'll most certainly be eager to show the organization what they're missing?

So, be prepared to despise him, boo him and even grow to hate him, because every time he takes the court against the Bulls, it will be more than a game, it'll be personal.

Im excited for this year, its going to be great, all the top teams are getting more stacked.

I personally think the finals this year will be San Antonio and Boston.

Hopefully things will work out for Toronto with these new additions/faces. and you cant forget the Heat with my main man D-Wade...Michael Beasley and Jermaine O'Neal

                          NBA's 2009-10 regular-season schedule coming out Tuesday

The NBA's 2009-10 regular-season schedule, spanning 1,230 games that begin in late October and stretch until mid-April, will be released Tuesday afternoon, the league announced on Monday. The entire regular-season schedule, including those games earmarked to be nationally televised, will be available on NBA.com shortly after the announcement.

Individual team schedules can be found on NBA.com and on the various team sites.

ESPN will again broadcast a schedule of mostly Wednesday and Friday games throughout the season. TNT, coming off its best ratings season since 1995-96, will air its regular Thursday doubleheaders, anchored by Inside the NBA, the award-winning studio show featuring Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley. NBA TV will again air Fan Night games every Tuesday.

ABC TV, which broadcast the NBA Finals in June between the L.A. Lakers and Orlando Magic, is expected to begin its regular-season coverage with a traditional Christmas Day doubleheader.

The 2010 NBA All-Star Game is scheduled to be played on Feb. 14 in the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. More than 80,000 people are expected to attend.
