wow Houston Rockets will have exactly ZERO nationally televised games this season, while the Knicks, Pacers, Bucks and some other terrible teams will have at least one, way to go David Stern!?!?!?
By the way, for those Lakers fans who think the NBA doesn't show any favoritism towards their team : The Lakers start their season with 17 of their first 21 games being at home!!!! WTF that is no coincidence...i'm speechless:bs:
PS. I hate all you Lakers fans, and you too Kasrakhan

I love Magic Johnson btw!
Ironically, I randomly saw him again in Disneyland about 10 years later.

He had just retired from the Lakers several months before after announcing he had HIV, and was on my flight from LA to Maui. After my parents heard from some other kids sitting infront of us that Magic Johnson was on our flight, I went into the first class area during the flight to ask him for an autograph. He was sitting next to his doctor and eating a lobster dinner (or was it shrimp?). He then introduced me to his doctor, and told me to come back and get his autograph after our flight landed, which was pretty odd and confusing for a 10 year old, since he had taken the time to introduce me to his doctor, but wasn't willing to give me an autograph. So my parents and I rushed off the plane as soon as it landed and stood waiting for him outside. After about 10 minutes, he still hadn't come out, and just when we were about to give up thinking that he had quickly gotten off and we had missed him, he came out and my mom snapped the photo while he was signing the autograph for me. Definitely one of the greatest and most vivid memories of my childhood.

Talking about Kareem, if we could somehow get these 2 guys to sign this photo, that would be something! 6 time NBA MVP and NBA's alltime leading scorer and the guy with 10 NCAA championships and the first person EVER to get into hall of fame both as a player and a coach. You could say the most accomplished fellows in their respective professions. I have a john wooden autograph (I have a few actually) but I have never met kareem.Last edited by persianbruin; 10-20-2009, 11:38 PM.----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts
