Kobe serves notice to the rest of the NBA: I am still the best!

he just had the 99th 40+ point game of his career (3rd in the last 4 games) which is 3rd alltime behind wilt and MJ. He can EASILY lead the NBA in scoring if he wants to but I am sure when Gasol comes back he is gonna come back to earth for the benefit of the team

            GO LAKERS!

EDIT: Poetic justice I guess. Kobe passed AI in the alltime scoring list and took his place (16th) in his own presence!

if u r good at soccer you r good at basketball (e.g. Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant both played soccer)

if u r good at basketball u r shit at soccer (e.g. imagine shaq playing in the epl)

ok buddy if that's what you want to believe then that's fine by me , dude is currently playing on a strained achilles tendon, and his conditioning is not even 50% yet because he didn't play in the entire preseason, and his team is 4-2 and in first place, but yeah he's really overrated a year into his career. By the way go look up his rookie stats and that of Lebron and Chris Paul not to mention having the best playoff debut ever in the NBA, but all that must just be pure luck. Rajon Rondo is overrated, Derrick Rose..not so much...

                            :bs: :bs: :bs:

                            huh?????

Let's look at some rookie stats from Lebron, Chris Paul and Rose:

                            03-04 CLE .417 .290 .754 1.60 Steals 0.70 Blocks 3.5 TO 5.5 RBS 5.9 Assists 20.9 PTS

                            08-09 CHI .475 .222 .788 0.80ST 0.20B 2.5TO 3.9RBS 6.3Assists 16.8PTS

                            05-06 NOR .430 .282 .847 2.20ST 0.10B 2.3TO 5.1RBS 7.8Ass 16.1 PTS

                            AND IN THE PLAYOFFS:

Game 1 belonged to Rose (36 pts, 11 asts); he was the leading scorer in Game 4 (23 pts, 11 rebs, 9 asts); and his offense and defense were instrumental in Game 6 (28 pts, 8 rebs, 7 asts). In other words, in the games Chicago won in that series, Rose was the star, not Gordon.

                            Lebron must suck too since:

With the regular season concluding, Derrick Rose became only the eighth rookie in NBA history to average at least 16 points, 3.5 rebounds and six assists.Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson, Anfernee Hardaway, Damon Stoudamire, Allen Iverson, Steve Francis and Chris Paul hmmmm no Lebron in that category....
Kobe Bryant said. "A lot of young players don't play both ends. He works hard at it, defense as well."

Indiana coach Jim O'Brien even compared him to LeBron James.

"They're different positions, but LeBron James has the same thing -- it's hard to knock him off his driving lane," O'Brien said. "And I think he's improved his outside shot. And I think he knows the game."
