if you ask me , i honestly think a great place for him would be New York. Madison square garden would love to come watch him, he would fit well in D'Antoni's system (shooting is the main thing he focuses on, perfect for A.I) and New York would simply be a great team for him, they dont really have a leader or a main guy to call their "Franchise guy." every team has their own kobe bryant, lebron, dwight, etc. who is new yorks guy ??
the knicks should go after him, my 2 cents

Please call the cops if you see anyone carrying a 7-foot-tall bronze statue of Dennis Rodman

Townshend, Vt. - Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a 7-foot-tall bronze statue of former Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons star Dennis Rodman.
Kenneth Moberly of Wardsboro told police he bought the statue at a charity auction for the Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend on Saturday and asked that it be delivered to his home, but that it never arrived. The 70-year-old Moberly tells The Associated Press he's never been a serious basketball fan and bid on the statue solely as a piece of art. Rodman played for several National Basketball Association teams, and was known for his tough play, frequently changing hair color and numerous tattoos and piercings. He's also been in movies and professional wrestling.

^Yes i read that as well haha, anyways its going to be an interesting season, in the east especially with the recent transfers, i think the raptors have made the most offseason moves by far, lets see if they can do well this year, and Cavs are looking pretty good too, with Shaq,Moon, and Parker added. Its going to be interesting to see the standings.

i'm sorry but you are crazy if you think that the pistons will be the fifth seed while the bulls don't make the playoffs at all, not to mention the heat as a 4th seed? lol, think again

maaaaah niga (referring to Persian Boy )
i think PB said that after he read this article teeheheh
" CHICAGO
DA's Offseason Rank: No. 19
Last season: 41-41, second place, Central; Lost in first round of Playoffs.
Added: F James Johnson (first-round pick); F Taj Gibson (first-round pick), G Jannero Pargo (free agent, Russia; one year, $2 million)
Lost: G Ben Gordon (signed with Detroit), F Tim Thomas (signed with Dallas)
Retained: None
The key man: F Luol Deng. He's talented and well-paid. Now he has to stay on the court for a full season and into the Playoffs if Chicago is to improve on last season's surprising turnaround.
The skinny: A solid Draft produced two solid rookies. Last year's Rookie of the Year, Derrick Rose, should get nothing but better. A deep and versatile group after the trade deadline deal that brought John Salmons and Brad Miller is back. Third-year center Joakim Noah is a comer. But the Bulls are still in need of a low-post presence, and replacing a guy that can get you 30 on any given night is going to be hard. Losing Gordon is why they aren't ranked higher."

Lebron James has claimed that he will become a free agent and leave the Cavaliers after the 09/10 season:
James indicated Friday that he is unlikely to accept a contract extension from the Cavs until after the 2009-10 season and presumably will become a free agent.
At an event in his hometown to unveil Nike Air Max LeBron VII, the latest sneaker in his signature line, James made his strongest comments yet about his future. The NBA's reigning MVP said he signed a three-year contract in 2006 to give him more options once it expires.
"I signed a contract in 2006 with an option, and it would make no sense for me to sign that contract if I didn't keep my options open," he said. "I'll let you fill in the blanks."
James, who will make $15.7 million next season, also has an option in his current contract that can extend his deal through the 2010-11 season.
However, it appears for now that James does not intend to sign the extension anytime soon.
James was similarly positioned in 2006, when he decided to sign a three-year extension with the Cavs.
Despite his choice to delay his decision, James has maintained that he's happy with the Cavs and Dan Gilbert and Ferry's attempts to add more talent to Cleveland's roster.
Following an elaborate multimedia presentation by Nike, James, who will embark on a tour promoting his new shoe and "More Than A Game," a documentary chronicling his days at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, answered questions about O'Neal and Magic forward Rashard Lewis' 10-game suspension for testing positive for an elevated testosterone level.
