yeah i have to agree with you there about deng, but gordon made them at least respectable, and there is no guarantee that Reinsdorf will pay for a superstar next summer anyways

They'll probably get JJ next summer.

that is exactly what i'm afraid of...getting JJ is equivalent to getting another overpaid non-super star (who does the same things as gordon pretty much for 6-8 million dollars more per year) who will not elevate the Bulls past anything other than a 3-4 seed at best and a conference finals exit if they are lucky.....they need to get a good SG and a very good PF ala Amare or Bosh, so unless the Bulls can get Wade and Amare/Bosh then they are going nowhere fast....Wade alone would be the best we can hope for i guess, and that would be a pretty good lineup with rose, wade, deng, thomas and noah

Gordon didnt want to stay, they offered him contracts twice and he rejected them both times even though the second one was a good one and surprisingly on par with what he is getting at Pistons.

Ariza (a bruin) elbowed derozan (a trojan). Seems like the rivalry is extending to the NBA!

I think it has more to do with the fact that they're both from Compton.

Tayshaun prince is a traitor for going to Kentucky. At least tyson chandler would have gone to either UCLA or USC if he hadn't skipped college and afllalo went to UCLA so izz all good!

btw compared to these guys baron davis ( santa monica coross roads high) and farmar (taft high) should be considered soosools!

You guys had to watch Kobe's 20 first quarter points. I mean the "way" he scored them. All of that with a broken finger! It was a sight for sore eyes!

Amazing Kobe!! and I am not even talking about the buzzer beater. Been there, seen that a million times.

How in the world a guy in his 14th season in a back to back night on the road plays like that for FIFTY minutes without any break in most of the 3rd, all of the 4th and overtime looks like the least tired person in the game and scores the last 7 points of the game

                        Simply amazing

No doubt redd is gonna have some good plays. I predicted before I pulled the trigger that he might even have a few 40+ games. But the following made me go ahead with the switch:

                            1) I remembered how redd disappointed you last year
                            2) This year after he came back from injury he still did not look good
                            3) jennings and bogut (Iguess you can add the turk now) will take majority of the shots
                            4) Redd is injury prone so this might happen again
                            5) I wanted a guy who would give me some steals and blocks

So I went ahead with what I did, and there are no regrets (yet )

well first of all as he mentioned about 8 years ago on Leno, its not the number of years. Its the mileage! He has made it to 6 NBA finals which means you can easily add another 2 full seasons to his resume (this is what some of the experts who are trying to devalue him say anyways).

I think having another few years in the tank is different than being able to be the guy with the most energy on the floor between minute 45 and 50. A lot of people play for long time but first of all they are not always the main focus of the offense and they are really effecive (maybe even not that long) if they only play 20-25 minutes a game (ehem ehem shaq )

Its all about his state of mind and conditioning. I expect him to be at this level for another 2 years and then another 2 at a high level but not this ridiculously high and in 4 or maybe 5 years from now, I think he will be that guy who only plays 20-25 a game. Lets just enjoy him while we can
