man Derrick Rose had a heckuva game against the hawks tonight, and the Bulls won a game they shouldn't have because of him....he had one move that was reminiscent of the dream shake and showed that he is fully healthy now in terms of his ankle....if tyrus comes back healthy soon, the bulls might have a shot of turning this crappy season into something salvageable.

lol not if he gives me 21 and 11 like tonight, too often though he disappears in big games (he's far too soft and passive), and it's all on Rose's shoulders cause no one else can score (Salmons is terrible, and Hinrich has been abysmal all season long).

The guy is averaging 18PPG 8.1RPG and 2.1 APG this season and you call him inconsistent? He was inconsistent last season but not this year.

go look at his game logs and the opponents and you will see that he disappears in some games, he'll have 28 and 20 one game and then 14 and 3 or variations of such, the guy should be an easy 20 point scorer for this team and with his length should be getting close to if not more than 10 boards a game...teams load up on Rose so much in the paint that he has countless open jumpers or lanes to drive every single game, yet he remains so damn passive most of the time that it drives me crazy, after all the guy is 6'9 with a 7' wing span and can shoot the ball darn well up to 23 feet.

ps he was injured last year so his stats don't really mean much.

Well maybe you should because obviously you don't know the definition of the term consistent, look at his stats for the beginning of December (14, 11, 9, 27, 11) compared to the last 5 games (look at his point totals), and then notice his point totals fluctuating (although admittedly he was more consistent in November than December by a long shot) in the beginning of the season with a couple of 4 and 6 point games, and few others in the teens. That's not exactly "consistent". And also notice how those poor outings are during Bulls blowouts against good teams, i.e. he disappears.

You can't really tell me that Deng is consistent, when I have watched every single Bulls game this year on Season pass broadband (I know that might not be as credible as having him on my fantasy team but it's not too bad ), and even the commentators are criticizing him for his inconsistencies.

Well if you want a forward who can drop 40pts on Magic/Celtics/lakers go buy Lebron. Even a star like Durant cant be consistent in the way you want Deng to be. Still Im surprised at how can you be so pleased with Rose despite your high standards.

no with Rose I gave him a pass the first two months because he was coming off of a very serious and hard injury (achilles tendon strain with fluid build up) to recover from with little rest, and no conditioning whatsoever with no pre-season games played. Now that he has shown himself to be 100% with the ankle in the past two weeks, I can accurately judge his performances, and he hasn't disappointed in that stretch.
