thats the NBA fanboys wetdream...well, guys who really dont care for ball outside the superstars..and even then there would be no guarantee they would win the title, I cant wait till none of those players (or at least LBJ) does not end up in NY playing for that joke of a franchise

true enough, but the East is so weak man they would just tear it up every year if this team existed. Finals every year with ease. it would be boring IMO
It will never happen. LbJ has already said he wants to be the first billionaire athlete. Funny thing about money, the more you have the more you want! This what separates MJ and Kobe from the rest. THeir drive to win championships is just a lil more. Of course they love the money too but if they can make a lil less but create and opportunity to win more championships, they rather have that
interesting article about how Lebron is trying to catch Kobe..... but for the wrong reasons

^^^ thats why he is goin to leave cavs and go to NY where the celebs are not in cold middle of no where Ohio and no one cares about.. its like he is preparing him self to leave... i can't stand him and wat a waste of money to buy that crap..i just hope he never wins a championship.. DROSE1 REPRESENT SON!!!
Then I am sorry to disappoint you. Lebron WILL win a championship. He is too much of a freakin athlete combined with enough bball skills to win a few championships. He doesn't have the bball IQ or the skills Kobe and MJ have/had but he makes up for it physically

I definitely disagree with that part. His bball IQ will shine brighter later in his career once his physical skills start to fade a bit. I actually think his concept of team basketball IQ is higher than Kobe's.
I know he's not the most unbiased source out there, but Shaq has said that he is amazed with Lebron's bball IQ, and that it is higher than anyone he's ever played with (ie. Kobe, Wade). I think he's right.

are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!?????? I can undertand this coming from a Kobe hater or a casual NBA fan but from you is amazingly amazing!! Everyone knows that shaq would say whatever he can to put Kobe down. When he was with wade, he said wade was a better player than Kobe. You wanna use a different source fine but please for the love of god dont quote shaq when it comes to Kobe
as for bball IQ, its something you either have or you dont. Its not something you acquire. He is more of a team player and thats why he wont ever be that closer that MJ was and Kobe is. He made one buzzer beater last year and the whole world went nutz!
Anyways, he IS a great player which is why I say he will win multiple championships but I disagree with shaq (as always)

I don't care about who is more clutch, who is the better closer, who scores more etc. We're purely talking about bball IQ.
Usually the best sign of someone having high bball IQ is their assist #'s (which is indicative of how well they see the open court and can spot mismatches), as well as the ability to make players around them better.
No comparison between Lebron and Kobe's assist numbers. Kobe can put up 15 assists in a game if he wants to, but it's not something engrained in his mentality that he will do consistently night in and night out like Lebron does. Lebron's team concept of basketball is more refined than Kobe.
No doubt Lebron makes his teammates much better. With Kobe, it's arguable. Many of his teammates throughout the years have had a difficult time adjusting to his shoot first mentality that has alienated them on the court. Kobe wants to win, but there is no way he is taking a back seat to anyone. He will, and demands to average his 30 points a game. Even if it pisses off his own teammates like Pau, who have become increasingly frustrated while complaining publicly about their number of shots in the media. You could see it in the underlying comments of his teammates after they went on the winning streak with him out a few weeks ago. It was obvious to everyone (not sure how you didn't catch on to something so glaring). It was the same with him and Shaq. Look how much Artest has regressed in 1 year playing next to Kobe, even though he came in with the assumption that he would score significantly less. While everyone in the NBA believes basketball should be played inside-out (ie throw the ball to the big man in the post first, and then kick out to the open guards), Kobe fundamentally plays outside-in (with his big men as the 2nd option).
Nothing like that has ever happened with any of Lebron's teammates. Like you, I think Kobe is great. But take off your blindfolds for once and accept certain realities. Lebron having a better team basketball IQ than Kobe doesn't make Kobe any less of the superstar than he already is.

Yes bball IQ Kobe is better than lebron....any questions? and there was recently a vote amongst NBA players abut who has the most bball IQ and Kobe's % as #1 was so huge
and I ahve said before in terms of "skills" the only thing Lebron is better at is his passing.
Interms of making players better, its funny how players who became NBA starters when playing with Kobe either come off the bench with other teams (chuckie atkins and Kwame brown) or were dropped from the league altogether like Smush (who?) Parker I wonder if smush ever sent a thank you note to Kobe when he got that 5 million 2 year contract from Miami where shaq and dwade didnt make him better and he was eventually dropped from the team
