The espanyol captian made the choice, he made the gamble , he knew about his heart condition, it went wrong and he died. RIP

Such a shame, the whole club was on a high and now this happens to their captain. Really liked Dani, was a great player and had a good head on his shoulders and was just bound to do great things in his career, future Spanish international for sure. Sad day for his family, his club, his fans and Spanish football.
