there is already a thread on how the argentina soccer league could be cancelled, and everyone knows all about problems that teams such as valencia are having. But how? In american football, teams play 16 games a year plus MAYBE a few playoff games in front of 60-70k ppl a game, and you dont hear about any sort of problems. But argentina has teams playing in front of like 90k ppl a game about 40 times a year for the league, then you have the cup, then you have the continental cups, AND you are getting all these rediculous transfer fees for young talent from europe. For teams like valencia, they dont exactly spend much on advertising in most of the world, but if you go to a village in africa a bet a lot will know who valencia are. You think those ppl are gonna know about the jacksonville jaguars? And ppl are buying merchandise all over the world. Plus they put ads on everything. So how the hell can these teams and leagues be in all this debt?

Lets not forget, Real Madrid's 2009 spending spree is essentially from a series of BANK LOANS. One can only imagine what would happen if things go wrong in a Leeds United sort of waysigpic
