they finished the tournament 9-0 and won with fashion against china who were 3-4 inches taller then iran as a team!!!

Well done boys.
The best federation Iran has. Its run by good sporting people who actually have international connections and know a thing or 2 about basketball. Next big step will be the 2010 championships and then qualification for the Olympics.

The guy in charge of our basketball federation, mahmoud mashoun, was my dad's dabirestan hemmat basketball coach decades ago. He knows a thing or two alright.


Lets hope AN and his sepahi cronies stay the eff out of this...
