I think that the Jazz will catch sacremento and get the 8th seed for the playoffs.
Mehmot Okur used to be a bench warmer for the pistons 2 years ago and he is starting to become a really good player in Utah.
Also Amir, do you know if the Jazz have any games left with the kings this season?
Btw, Congratz on beating the pistons twice this year, thats pretty rare to do with the way the pistons are playing.
I know it was good beating them and no we dont play the Kings anymore this season we played our last game with them last week at home and lost 91-89 (we were 18-40 free throws! ) and we only won 1 this year vs. them and they won 3 so if we tie THEY get in!!! and yes I love Okur man, he has such a soft shot! 6'11'' and he shoots the 3 like Miller used to!
out of that list iverson is the best
you obviously dont know the NBA today very well my friend.
you obviously dont know the NBA today very well my friend.
lol youre the one who says iverson (2nd in scoring, 8th in apg, 4rth in steals/game) isnt in the top 5.
lebron? iverson is slightly better than him (check stats if you dont believe), kobe? iverson is still slightly better.
wade? iverson is better than wade in assists, and he isnt even a point gaurd like dwayne even though dwayne has shaq and iverson has noone., plus iverson scores 5 more a game.
arenas? iverson is slightly better.
duncan? iverson is way better than duncan this season. duncan isnt too good anymore.
yao? come on man iverson is way better than yao.
mcgrady? not even top 30 this season. iverson is better than mcgrady in everything.
so as you see, the only ones that are close to iverson are kobe and lebron but iverson still proved to be better.
btw, i cant believe you didnt even mention the best player in the nba- kevin garnett he leads the nba in rebounds per game for almost every year and hes good at everything except 3pters.
Wade- Has shaq
Kobe- Had shaq when he won the title and now he has odom and parker. They arent that good, but they are better than what Iverson has. But Kobe never even passes to them because he is a selfish ballhog.
McGrady- has yao.
Duncan- Has Ginobili, Parker, had Robinson.
Yao- Has McGrady. But if you really think that yao ming is better than allen iverson, you need some serious help.
Arenas- Has Jameson
Carmelo-
Allen Iverson has NOBODY and has never had anybody. Dont tell me chris webber because he sucks now. Yet he still averages like 8 assists per game, unlike Bryant, who only cares about his scoring.
OK where to begin?!
1.McGrady NOW has Yao, BEFORE he proved himself as a good player in ORLANDO by HIMSELF and in Toronto with only Carter (who was usually injured when T-Mac was shining anyways) and even today ALL he has is Yao, Iverson has Webber, Korver, Iguadala, Dalembert etc. so shut up about that, now lets compare there numbers this season real quick...
-similar numbers except pts, obviously since Yao avgs 23 T-Mac hardly touches the ball as much as he used to, ALSO let me note that Iverson averages 43mins a game and T-Mac only 36mins
2.DONT compare Duncan to Iverson! they play much different positions but as a whole player Duncan is better because he can be dominant at BOTH ends of the floor! and you say Parker and Ginobili? they werent there when he brought the first titles there to San Antonio only a old Robinson who contributed but not as much as the young Duncan. Duncan is a multiple champion, Iverson only got to the Finals once, no comparison.
3.Arenas has Jameson? WTF??? if your going to consider him as a big talented player then there is NO way you are leaving out the young and talented Iguadala who is all over the floor, Dalembert down low, Korver running around hitting 3's opening up space, and I dont care how much his games lowered Webber still is a good player! man you are such a hipocrit! but I do have to agree Iverson might have the edge over Arenas of all out of my list but he is right there with him, and he knows how to win.
4.Carmelo, ok this guy is still young and rising and Iverson might have the edge over him at the moment and its your only valid point, but he will rise and become better than Iverson in my opinion just wait and see.
5.Again Yao cannot be compared to Iverson! and if YOU think they should even compare (which Im assuming you do, since you already compared them) then YOU my friend need some serious help! seriously this guy is like a foot and a half taller than Iverson!!! and again as a whole player who wouldnt take a HUGE player who can dominate both ends, score, block, pass, run etc.
6.Last but certainly not least...Kobe Kobe Kobe, I personally hate the guy but dont compare them, this guy is Iverson times 2!!! plain and simple. You could say Odom, even though I consider him only a little above average but WTF Parker? the rookie? who still dont know shit and starts because they have no one else??? face it without Kobe they wouldnt even win 20 games, he SINGLE-HANDEDLY brought them to the playoffs. Kobe is a champion who can TAKE CONTROL of a game which Iverson only used to be able to do now he cant, Iverson just keeps shooting to keep his stats up only sitting down 5 minutes a game....Kobe SHOULD shoot with the shot he's got and NO he doesnt JUST care about points his stats are 35pts, 6rebs, 6.5assts, 1.5steals thats more than just points dummy, oh and 81 POINTS??? NUFF said you aint got a shit of a point there so pack it!!!
Conclusion: Iverson is NO longer the player he used to be! he can no longer take control of a game and lead his team to victory! Im sorry but its the truth just face it, his team is choking and will drop out of the playoffs most likely and you are using an excuse he has nobody when in fact he is surrounded by talent this year!!! Dont get me wrong he once was that player when he won MVP and took his team to the finals etc. but he isnt no longer this year among the top 3 or even 5 anymore (when I compare the big guys with them I compare them as what they bring to the floor statistically) so just face it....sorry dude but what a waste of time your post was, your points werent valid at all! and I just stated why one by one, dont argue b-ball with me bro its my life I will put you in your place! no hard feelings.
lol youre the one who says iverson (2nd in scoring, 8th in apg, 4rth in steals/game) isnt in the top 5.

yeah now I know you dont know much about basketball, but its okay your still young but if you want to learn a little read my post below!
and again you are comparing players who shouldnt be compared plus throwing in stats to back you up.
by the way those players you just compared are ALL successful players who are going to the playoffs...except Garnett who actually did suck this year and his team aint going NOWHERE!
you cant just say oh this guys is this and this in pts, rebs, blocks, look at there teams, look who they play with! that plays a big role....in another words watch and study more basketball!
By the way Milad, James is MUCH better than Iverson look where he has taken his team and he is only 20!!! and same with Wade even when Shaq's out he dominates games! and YES he is a shooting guard like Iverson not point guard anymore!!! do you even watch basketball? Jason Williams is the Heat Point Guard by the way! I could keep going and going....
1. Mcgrady- You say he proved himself as a great player in orlando. By leading them to the worst record in the NBA? Then you say that Yao averages 23, and thats why mcgrady doesnt average as much, but webber averages 20 too and iverson still getse 32 points. So thats no excuse for tmacs short-comings in points.
2. Duncan- When they won there first title there were PLENTY of great players there. Dont say an old robinson, he was still an EXCELLENT player in the first year they won, and also very, very good the second year, or at least better than anybody that iverson has now. Avery Johnson also had an excellent year in 98, so that was another GREAT role player that he had. For the second title, they were STACKED! Look at these players: Robinson, Parker, Jackson (great shooter), Bowen (best defender in the NBA), Malik Rose (extremely efficient player), Speedy Claxton, Manu, Steve smith, and Steve Kerr (one of the best shooters of all-time). You could have put me in there instead of duncan and we still would have competed for a title. A lot of those players were gone for the 3rd title, but by that time, Parker and manu had emerged as SUPERSTARS. That is a team with 3 superstars, and they were the only team like that, which is why they won the title, not just because of Duncan. And his stats were never THAT good.
3-4. You seemed to have aknowleged your mistakes
5. Yao- You say he dominates, does this, does that, if this is true, then why does his team suck, even when he is paired up with tracy mcgrady, who according to you is one of the top 2-3 players in the NBA?
6. Kobe has never WON anything without Shaq and the only FULL year without him, he missed the playoffs. Now this year, they seemed to have made it, but barely. In 2000-2001, Iverson, with nobody on his team, led the sixers to the finals AND the best record in the east and I think the NBA that year. Also Kobe, a shooting guard, has more turnovers per 48 minutes than Iverson, a POINT GUARD! Bryant has 4.5 assists per game, 3 less than iverson, which equals 6 points per game, and only averages 2 more points per game, so iverson contributes to 4 more points per game than kobe. And this is like the first year EVER that kobe has more points per game than AI, so he really isnt even better than him in that sense. So I dont see anyway that you can say that Kobe is better than Iverson.
And you keep bringing up Iversons support. Yes, on good days, they are good. But I dont think they have ever had even 3 of those players have a good day at the same time. Take the recent sixers-pacers game, for example. You have 4 supporting players; webber, iguodala, korver, and dalembert
webber- 24, good, but only 5 rebounds. You are the power forward, and you can only pull down 5 rebounds? And only 3 assists for the supposed best passing big man in the NBA? Still, 24 points is good, so we have 1 player so far that stepped up.
Iguodala- 6 points, 5 turnovers
Korver- 8 points, 0 rebounds, 1 assist
Dalembert- 2 points on 1-11 shooting! 1-11!!!!!!!!! You dont move 2 feet away from the hoop, and you make one shot out of 11!!??
Few games before that when iverson was injured:
Webber- 21 points, decent, but not really when you consider iverson wasnt there, and he only shot 7-21.
Iguodala- 20 points, finally, a good game
Korver- 1-7 on 3 pointers from this amazing 3 point shooter
Dalembert- 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists. Way to make your presence felt, big guy.
Now, 1 game before iverson got injured vs denver, iverson had 38 btw
Webber- only 14 points but a lot of rebounds
iguodala- 6 points
korver- 7 points and, get this 1-12 from behind the arc. let that sink in.
Dalembert- 6 points, 3 rebounds
Its strange to me that you dont even have the 2 players who i consi
From this, you see how much his teammates suck (webber seems good but if you watch the games you see that the numbers are misleading. Also keep in mind that this 20 points come when nobody else other than iverson has more than 10, so its really just very average performances, basically), so dont call me a "hipocrit", or even a hypocrite for that matter.
Its strange to me that you dont even mention the 2 players who i consider to be in the same league as Iverson, Garnett or James. Neither are as good, but they are in the same league...
By the way Milad, James is MUCH better than Iverson look where he has taken his team and he is only 20!!! and same with Wade even when Shaq's out he dominates games! and YES he is a shooting guard like Iverson not point guard anymore!!! do you even watch basketball? Ok, i was posting while you brought up lebron, so ignore what i said about him.
But you say look where lebron has taken them and he is only 20. Where exactly has he taken them? Nowhere!
Now they will finally get into the playoffs, but look at the team they built around him: Ilgauskas, 2nd best center in the east, luke jackson, eric snow, fairly solid point gaurd, doesnt do anything stupid, flip murray, he could be a star if given the chance, excellent player, Newble, solid, and alan henderson. Those are all solid, consistent players. Philadelphia doesnt have 1 solid, consistent player on there roster, except iverson. Well, i dont know if you can call stars "solid", but iverson is certainly consistent.
1. Mcgrady- You say he proved himself as a great player in orlando. By leading them to the worst record in the NBA? are u fukkin serious??? nyc u wrote all that??? damn i had you wrong man thats some mad rep points rite there

He's taken a suckyass team to the damn playoffs thats what! and are you serious just because of that one maybe two games Flip Murray "could be a star?", Alan Henderson and Luke Jackson? WTF you smokin'? you just naming there bench you aint shit except once a blue moon? OH and NOW Eric Snow is a solid point guard but he's not solid when Iverson was the ONLY player to take his team to the finals huh? :bs: even though he was younger and better then? you just defined HYPOCRITE. the only good player Lebron has is Ilgauskas but still he is ONLY 20 and he has 10 triple doubles ALREADY!!! how much more consistencey do you want? How many does the veteran Iverson have huh? or how many did he have by 20? did he even average over ten points at that age??? OH wait he was still in college playing for Georgetown at the same age Lebron TURNED a franchise around and averaged 31pts, 6rebs, 6assts!!!!!!!! dude just cut your bs ALL you have proven with your long post is that your sixers altogether are incosistent just because they all suck sometimes does NOT mean Iverson is better, but that doesnt mean they are not talented and dont open up space for Allen to work with!!! just cut it off right here I still believe Iverson is either 5th or 6th this year in the league and its true...
You say Iverson still gets more points even with Webber averaging 20 etc and McGrady doesnt?...well that has a lot to do with the coaching and how the team is run, Houston is actually organized and Philly is basically Iverson Iverson Iverson shoot shoot shoot pass.... and Rockets struggled cuz they suffer from injuries and have no support to those 2 guys, but even still when those 2 are healthy together they win games...if you noticed they climbed the charts (In the WEST by the way, much more difficult conference that EAST as you know obviously) and almost made the playoffs before T-Mac got injured. How dare you doubt Duncans game? who cares how good Robinson was, if it wasnt for Duncan attracting defenders down low players like Smith, Jackson, Kerr etc. wouldnt be able to be effective and hit as many shots as they did, basketball is not one dimensional dude take it from someone who plays ....and to come in as a youngster to the league and play at that level and continue it yearly is just amazing, a true champion, like Kobe but then you say "Shaq Shaq Shaq" that the best you can do is find another star and give ALL credit to him!? and stop referring to that ONE season Philly got to the finals because one time doesnt say much....hell the Jazz did it twice in a row no one recognizes them? we are discussing players of today and where they rank in case you didnt know.
By the way I didnt admit to "my mistakes on 3-4" I simply just named "good players of today" in my earlier post and you wrote about them and I wrote my feedback on them. Case Closed I stand by what I say you didnt change my mind one bit, sorry. Your also forgetting Iverson lacks one thing the other stars dont: TAKING CONTROL of a game which he cant do on a consistent basis if he did maybe they wouldnt lose so much and drop out of the playoffs... your done nice try.
PS DONT SAY IVERSON IS BETTER THAN JAMES UNLESS YOUR RETARDED AND/OR BLIND!!!
regarding the Knicks.....
Larry brown is an excellent coach, the only problem is that he has a certain way of coaching and players must be vetarans and too experienced to understand his style and system.....sure he wants to build these youngsters from the root, but some of them just might not get it.....
but he is an excellent coach...
what the knicks need to do is stop having marbury get people envolved and just let him break ankles and drive to the whole which he does at will......
To NYC, regarding T-mac...
u mention how he made the orlando magic be the worst team in east that year....ok sure
but what about the previous year where he took them to the playoffs all by himself and went down the stretch with the hornets?
what about the year where they almost beat the Pistons where they were up 3-1 in the series....
what about last year where they almost beat the mavs....
Tracy McGrady has proven himself and he is in the right team with the right coach right now (my favorite head coach)
they are the unluckiest team this year with all the injuries....
once they get their roster back next season they will be the top 4 teams in the west for sure....
as for Iverson...I also agree that he has proven himself and specially considering his size...he is one of the best players in the league
He's taken a suckyass team to the damn playoffs thats what! and are you serious just because of that one maybe two games Flip Murray "could be a star?", Alan Henderson and Luke Jackson? Ive been a flip murray fan ever since i first saw him play in seattle. I didnt say that because of one or 2 games, flip murray is an excellent player. And you cant say that lebron has taken the cavs to the playoffs by himself when he has an ALL STAR CENTER! And i never said that those players were good, i said they were solid, these players wont go 1-20 like some of the players on the sixers. The sixers had some solid players in their championship run, but nobody that can score much at all. Look at the first game in the nba finals that year when the sixers beat the lakers (who hadnt lost in the playoffs up to that point; they had swept every series)
Here was the point totals of their players:
4, 4, 13, 9, 0,13,9, 0
and iverson had 48. They had players that were pretty solid and could do little things, like the caveliers this year, but nobody that could score, like lebron has, yet not to long ago people were talking about them maybe dropping out of the playoffs because they were struggling so much. And the reason why iverson hasnt gotten many triple doubles is because HE IS 6'0'' TALL! How are you going to get that many rebounds with guys who are a foot taller than you on the floor? Lebron is 6'8"!
And i said eric snow was a SOLID player, and I never said that the 2000-2001 team didnt have any solid players. I said they didnt have any really good players. And I said that snow was a solid player because i was comparing them to the sixers, who have zero solid players NOW, yet not too long ago before iverson got injured, they were only 1.5 games out of 3rd place in the east.
Then you say tracy mcgrady's scoring isnt high because of the coaching. So is the coach telling him to shoot 40%?
"Who cares how good Robinson was?" WHAT? Robinson is one of the greatest centers in NBA history! He was at his prime when they one the first championship; that is a superstar playing next to duncan. They wouldnt have gotten that far if it werent for Robinson. When they won last year, they had 2 SUPERSTARS playing with him, Manu and Parker, and the best defender in the NBA in Bowen. When you have 3 superstars, anything short of a championship would be a failure. Then the middle one, that was just a great team. They had great players everywhere, manu, parker, bowen, robinson, kerr... of course they wouldnt be as good without duncan, he is a great player, but he couldnt have done it by himself, he never has done it by himself, and he could never do it by himself if he had to. Duncan has just been blessed with great teammates.
Then you say iverson cannot take control of a game. Even the BIGGEST iverson hater would say that that statement is RETARDED. It seems like you have never seen a sixer game!

Then you say iverson cannot take control of a game. Even the BIGGEST iverson hater would say that that statement is RETARDED. It seems like you have never seen a sixer game!
Again you are using other players to give credit to and Duncan sucks right? You dont get an MVP award because you have 2 "stars" around you, and for your sake we'll call Parker and Manu "stars" even though they are just above average players in my opinion....also realize Iverson does get star treatment and almost half his points are from the free throw line, anyways Im tired of arguing the same points with you so case closed nucca.
PS I never said I was an Iverson hater, in fact he is an inspiration to me since I am only his height too and we play a similar style (except him better at moment obviously) but unlike him I can hit be deadly with the Trey!
Ok, Cleveland and philly are playing tonight on NBA tv, we will see who is the better player in due time...
deal, we will see who will play better...even though Iverson SHOULD play his ass off so they dont lose the 8th spot, we'll see...and we got Duncan and the Spurs comin here to town so its going to be a big headache for me unless we can pull off the upset.
One other thing real quick....if the Rockets have "good players" and T-Mac doesnt have much of an effect then why are they 5-21 without him? huh??? thats what I thought. Also out of the top ten scorers in the league only Iverson and Pierce will not be taking there teams to the playoffs (considering sixers will choke, as expected imo) Now you know what I mean about "taking control", it refers to winning in case you didnt know.
