Just watched the 1st quarter of the Knicks game, and T-Mac looked awesome with 10 points and 3 assists as not only a starter, but also the primary ball handler for the team.

He definitely still has game at a star level, although not the old superstar level he was at 2-3 years ago.

What a game by McGrady in his first NBA game in 2 months, playing with a brand new team.

Am I the greatest to ever play this game?

No but Tmac is pretty good! and I think anyone of us would have picked him up since he is not that unknown of a commodity! Its just that you got to him first

Got to him first?! Buddy you realize he was a free agent for the past few weeks, and that I picked him up several days before he was even traded to the Knicks, right?

It's risk and foresight like that which proves the nickname of "greatest to ever play this game". If Wade's hamstring injury isn't serious and he's back soon, there is nothing that stands between me and my 2nd championship in a row.

I was planning on taking him the minute I heard a news concrete enough about a trade involving him. When you picked him up, I checked the news and I noticed there were still signs that he was going to stay in Houston. Thats what I mean

Yes, and that's exactly what I mean. Risk vs. reward. If you don't gamble, you don't win. Everyone in the league would've picked him up the second there was concrete news about a trade to NY, which is why I took the risk even with no concrete news (although I was 100% sure it would happen anyway).

What did you have to lose if the trade didn't go through? A move? Small price to pay for a shot at landing a free star for your team.

well the risk was to heavy for me becasue for most of the season I hung on to not just one but TWO injured players and other stars like Duncan and Pierce missed many games too and becasue of that I fell REALLY behind in the standings only becasue just like you, I think its all about the playoffs but I was falling behind just a bit too much. Go look at the transactions list. I did pickup the Tmac a few weeks ago. I just couldnt be 1 player short, it wouldnt have mattered since I would have missed the playoffs FOR SURE!

                  vali khob props to you!

He's so sick. I regret not picking him up when I had the chance, but I'm happy that my Warriors finally have a legitimate NBA star after so long. He reminds me of a Steve Nash/Brandon Roy hybrid.

seems like AI is gone for good. Thats good news for me cause Iggy's numbers had dropped eversince AI joined the sixers and it was costing me to points

Teams out of playoff contention can't make trades since it's unfair to those who are in the playoff race.

                                ^^^

yea I suppose your right, I wouldn't mind if a contender made a "fair" trade with someone out of the playoff race but if someone were to offer GhormehSabzi a scrub for someone like Derrick Rose or Ben Gordon, then we have a problem lol
