2009 PFDC Fantasy Basketball League

Get off my back.

Please don't take this personal man, because it isn't at all. You've done a great job so far this year operating the league. But as you know, the playoff race is tight and very intense right now, even the slightest unfair half game advantage or anything for anyone can put the results in jeopardy. If you are going to do something, do it right. GBBA is still down 9-2 right now, with 1 day of games left. He only has 3 guys playing today. This could have been avoided if you had dropped the other 7 guys and picked up guys who are playing today. That way, you would know where things stand before tomorrow's games, and could then fine tune/adjust players accordingly to make sure it comes out equal.

I'm sure that you, like me and everyone else in this league wants thing to run as smoothly and fairly as possible. If you need some help, I'll help you. If you want me to handle things altogether, I'll do that as well. But I'm not going to sit quietly to the side when I see situations that could have been avoided being mishandled. That would be an injustice to everyone in this league, you included.

Once again, none of this is intended to be criticism, or anything personal. We all just want things to be fair and according to the rules. Is that really too much to ask for?

GBBA has 6 guys in his lineup for tomorrow. He should be able to win steals, assists, 3's, OREB, PTS, and FG% without too much of a problem if he has a full lineup of 10 tomorrow. If you want to be exact as possible, it's better to spread out the games between the earlier games (12:30pm, 4pm), and the later games (6pm and later) so you know when to bench certain guys to maintain a certain score.

5-5 will be almost impossible to pull off. Therefore, you should aim for 6-5 victory for GBBA.

Since Im tanking boards Im willing to trade Al Jefferson for someone with good assists.

I just looked at your team and you are absolutely killing it in rebounds. You lead the league in DREB, and are very competitive in OREB as well. Why would you want to tank boards when you have so many legit big men like Jefferson, Blatche, Murphy, Hibbert, Gooden, Durant, etc.?

I am looking to make 1 big trade before the deadline, all of my guys are available. If any of you are looking to make a fair trade, let me know and we'll make something happen.

BTW: I just checked our settings and for some reason it says our top 8 make it to the playoffs. This is a mistake which should be corrected with commisioner tools, as only the top 6 make it.

exactly but since GBBA is trailing in many catagories BIG TIME, maybe masoud should pick up some more players within the next 3 hours to make sure GBBA has enough firepower!

Your original post at the beginning of the year said that the league has the same settings as last year's league. Last year's league only allowed for top 6 to make the playoffs. Also, at least last year's league had 12 teams, compared to only 11 this year. For 8 out of 11 teams to make the playoffs would be pretty ridiculous.

This is coming from a guy in 6th place and barely clinging onto a playoff spot.

So I made a mistake and forgot about that 6 teams went to playoff last year, its the default number for Yahoo leagues its not like I changed it.
I simply stated that since the number of teams to go to playoffs has been 8 from the beginning and other Managers had based their assumptions on it being 8 they have a say in it. I dont see anybody else complaining and all the votes have been for Top 8 so far.

Dude I'm down at 7th place, trust me I want to get to playoffs as much as you but when someone fcks me in the arse a full-time and active member here I might add, I cant really fix the problem perfectly.People come here they say they agree to bench their players and when their time comes they go MIA and pull this shit on us.
