2009 PFDC Fantasy Basketball League

Why is everyone always asking me why "I'm quiet" after I don't post in this thread for a few days? What do you want me to do, come here and dance for you?
Go look at the 3 monsters I left accidentally on my bench last night before you get too excited (28 and 10 from Lee, 26 and 10 w/ 4 three's from Harrington). Plus I'm playing through some big injury problems right now with both Carmelo and Eric Gordon out. Beating me this week isn't anything to be proud of.

It's simple. When you are winning your matchups, you start posting things like how you are "greatest to ever play this game" while when you start losing, you stay as low as you can.
I'm pretty sure "the greatest to ever play this game" could do better than 5th place right now.

And don't even start with your excuses.. do you really want me to list the injuries that i have had throughout the season?

Like I've said so many times here, it's all about how you do in the playoffs, which is an art in itself. Regular season finish really doesn't mean anything, as long as you make the playoffs.

Anyways, enjoy the victory this week. Not sure how much satisfaction you can get knowing that David Lee, Carmelo Anthony, Eric Gordon, Al Harrington, and Kevin Love have given me a total of 0 stats over the course of the first two days so far, and that Carmelo is out again tonight at the least.

The only reason I wanted frye was becasue he was a 3-point shooting center and except for a game or 2 he has been in the single digits lately so I am good!

At least hopefully, he will be back for the playoffs.

If he did not get injured, i think i would have easily took the number 1 spot.

This is BS! I have been hit by injuries and off court stuff the whole season! Przybilla is out for the season. Gilbert Arenas out for the season. Blake Griffin out for the season now Mo is out for 6 weeks! And on top of that damn random injuries hit my players when I need them most. This week I got like 4-5 games less than Ommy but I was hopeful I could keep up with him and out of the blue Butler has swelling in his knee and cant play!

Fantasy basketball I would say is about 30-40% luck, 60-70% skill. If it was 100% skill, I would win this league 10 out of 10 times.

I pleyed the entire first part of and then even part of the secon with anywhere from 2-4 players injured. (kevinmartin and tyrus thomas) and omn top of that pierce, duncan, Kobe all missed many games.

babak I dont uy the luck this time. You should have kept tyreke evans and corey maggette. I warned you about redd. It was obvious it was something to expect. Thats not abd luck! Jut like when I drafted him in the beginning, it was bad managemnet.

I feel for all you guys with injuries, I wasnt doing too poorly last year before Amare went down for the season and other guys nursing injuries
