Don't worry about that stuff yet. For now, worry about putting some order back into what has turned into a chaotic and tainted league before it's too late.

The 3 big issues at the moment that need to be resolved ASAP:

1. Masoud needs to drop all the players on GBBA back to the free agent pool now that the week is over. For some reason, instead of dropping the guys, he just added another player (McGee, who is starting for the Wizards now) to GBBA today. All those players need to be made available to the FA pool immediately.

2. By winning 7-4 against GBBA, Behzad has now gotten an unfair 3 game advantage. How we will go about making things even needs to be decided. One possible solution is to bench the same amount of guys that he played against GBBA when he plays Shahin.

3. The issue of 6 or 8 for the playoffs needs to be decided once and for all now. Everything we have all done so far this year (with moves, etc) was based on the fact that top 6 make the playoffs. Yahoo default shows that top 6 make playoffs. How it became top 8 without a single person being informed is pretty ridiculous.

If we solve those 3 issues quickly, things can run smoothly and the league will be back in order. I have a lot of free time on my hand these next few weeks and would be more than willing to take over commissioner duties from Masoud if he wants me to.

I agree with you (indifferent about the FA thing because I dont plan on adding/dropping anyone to my team), and yes it should be a 6 man playoff, with 2k10champs and Chelsea having not been active in the league since early in the season and GBBA, theres almost no competition to make the playoffs when theres 8 teams

Count again. It was 4, which is pretty normal on a week to week basis. I'll take that victory with my 1st rounder Wade missing 3 games any day.

6 to 8 is really not that big of a deal cuz ommy and demis wont have a problem against the one of us who is gonna miss out of the top 6 and hichkas.

as for GBBA, honestly you and masoud should solve this. I was hoping masoud would pick up players on a daily basis so by saturday this matter would have been resolved. Talk to him. I cant see why he wouldnt let you take over the league

The league next year should be only 8 teams with 4 advancing to the playoffs.

In no particular order:

1) demis
2) ommy
3) babak
4) masoud
5) hichkas
6) ghormeh
7) Mojo
8) myself

we have been the only active ones. Now if nypimp wants to play too (remember he had not seen this thread this year and he was an active player) then we can add either Behzad or radin to the mix but I think after 2 years of playing, we have to go by past history and people who didnt give up on the league should be considered first

I am willing to let the playoff top 8 situation go. But other situations, I can't let go.

I informed Masoud of the situation with GBBA right here in this thread on Monday. He had a full 6 days to make the proper adds/drops to even the score, which shouldn't have been difficult to do at all.

Both me and you informed Masoud several days ago that he should drop GBBA's players back to the FA pool once the week is over on Sunday. It is now Monday, and not only he hasn't dropped the players, he has even added an additional player for some reason.

If I could see some sense/reason behind these mistakes, I could tolerate it. At this point, it seems that Masoud is either too busy, or simply doesn't care to make things run properly.

masoud good job dropping the GBBA players in time but becasue of our time zone difference I need to say this now. Please put behzad's team back in the order they were when he became inactive now if he wants to come back and arrange his players thats up to him. But for sure next week against shahin his team needs to be benched.

Ok Im back, I hadnt slept for two days cause I had to prepare my research for presentation and study for my finals, I should have never entered the masters degree program too much work.
1- I added Mcgee cause I was planning not to drop any GGBA player and just bench them so next time someone didnt bench their players I could act quickly. I have dropped all of them since you guys entertain yourselves by attacking me.
2- I live in Malaysia +8 GMT and 12+ lots of your local timezones. Sometimes its not bad to be fair.

3- Everything I have changed about the settings of the league is reflected in the Transactions section and under Commissioner changes I didnt change anything, for some reason I always thought it was 8 so I didnt change it. Now Im asking people to vote for it whats wrong with it? some of you make me laugh, its pathetic that some of you practice in discrediting others for your entertainment.

Glad to see you are back and on top of the situation now. Just so you know where I am coming from, let me quickly address a few of your points:

1. At the beginning of the season, it was decided that GBBA would not have any active players on its roster that may be of use to someone later in the year. McGee is now the starting center for Washington, and may be an option for someone sometime this season. Many of the other guys you picked up, such as Udrih, Biedrins, etc. may also become free agent options, especially during fantasy playoffs. You don't have the right to change the rules and suddenly put active players on GBBA's roster when we had decided against this earlier in the season. At the very least, you should have proposed this idea to the rest of the league to see what they think, rather than acting unilaterally on your own.

2. We certainly understand and sympathize with your time zone issues. But that shouldn't be an excuse to not properly go through with commissioner duties, especially when there are several other people here fully capable and willing to do the job right, with no time zone restrictions.

3. You are right that you did not change the setting from 6 to 8 after the season began, but you changed it from 6 to 8 before the season started when you first created the league. Yahoo default settings are 6, which I showed in my link. Not 8, as you incorrectly stated. The reason this is an issue is because your original post said that we were using the same settings as last year, which was top 6 making the playoffs. Never did you tell anyone that you had changed it to top 8. If you accidentally thought that last year's settings were top 8, then this is your mistake which you should take responsibility for.

None of this should be viewed as personal by anybody. Rules are rules, and no one should be allowed to break them due to having certain powers that others don't. Anyways, hopefully this puts a rest to all these issues and we all move forward with things. The only remaining issue is with Behzad, which we will deal with once he plays Shahin.
