T-Mac back to putting up his old 1st round #'s again. Wow, apparently he is the starting point guard for the team now. David Lee with his usual monster game, and is it just me or does Al Harrington hit 5-6 three pointers every night?

Looks like I got my hands on the right 3 Knicks with playoff time right around the corner.

T-Mac was only playing 20-25 minutes initially, usually sitting out the 3rd or 4th quarters because he was limited to under 30 minutes for at least his first 5 games while he got into basketball shape. This piece of info was all over the fantasy websites.

If you had done your research, you wouldn't have missed out on an opportunity to land 2 stars for a very GENEROUS price that I gave you.

Babak seriously, if someone (anyone) is out of playoff contention they shouldn't be allowed to trade. I mean whats the point besides making the "other" team a better team!!?? This is not the real NBA so salary cuts and future year picks couldn't be incentives

If the deal is fair (which it most certainly is) then there should be no reason to veto the trade. Whether you look at the deal pending between me and ghormeh from a ranking or statistical point of view, it is absolutely fair and equal. I'm sacrificing certain categories (FT, FT%, assists, steals) for other ones that I want a boost in (FGM, points, FG%). To propose something as silly and arbitrary as you can't trade with people ut of contention is ridiculous. The league's own rules have only one condition- trade deadline is March 11th, other than that and the trade being a fair one, nothing else should be considered. The NBA itself doesn't make arbitrary conditions for trading between good and bad teams except for it being consummated before a deadline, and the trade being within a certain "fair" framework.

Let us not forget that I took your side in the whole GBBA debate because it was the fair thing to do, even though the mistake has cost a great deal of turmoil in the league. The same principle applies here: I have proposed a virtually 100% fair deal, entirely within the league rules, both in what I'm giving up and getting, so I would expect you of all people to stick to that principle.

dadash its not a side thing! I am not taking anyone's side here. I have NEVER taken anyone's side here. I just want it to be fair. thats all. We are not playing for money. We are playing for fun. so all we have left is a nice fair competitive atmosphere and I just don't want anything to mess with that.

But again fair is fair. Its not against the rules for you two to trade with each other so I guess if not enough people vetos take place, by the definitions of the rules, its all good. I guess as they say, dont hate the playa, hate the game HOWEVER, babak we should learn from this year and implement some rules for next year such as (and lets vote on these):

1) Registration by priority meaning we have had 2 seasons and we have seen which players have been more serious about this. Lets not forget that nypimp played all season long last time and he should count as one of those members. Dont make password available to everyone here. Let them pm you and register by priority.

2) teams with a history of tardiness should only be allowed to join if we are stuck with and odd number of teams.

3) outsiders absolutely not allowed

4) all teams should be registered the latest a week before draft starts

5)teams with no chance of making the playoffs should not be allowed to make trades. I mean whats the incentive for the losing team?? again this is not the REAL NBA. salary cap relief doesn't apply here

6) any more suggestions!?

yes i have one.. please no one can make up their own rules middle of the season just because they notice that they are not benefiting from it so they are going to convince others that "this rule is not good and not fair blah blah etc etc..." so please no changing rules middle of the season stick wit it till the end.

and its so annoying how every move you make in this league, someone has to make a negative comment about it.. its like where are these rules that i have never read them.. where does it say teams not making the playoffs cant trade with teams that are going LOL in some way yes you are right its not fair but its even good for you, you can evaluate your roster and make the final changes wit either FA or make a trade and strengthen your roster, it'll makes things interesting. so please guys stop whining. and that reminds me add this to NO WHINING!
