Dropping Iguodala, who EVERY single person in this league will put a waiver out for is WRONG. You should have had the decency to realize that when your season is probably over, you shouldn't be altering the balance of power by handing Demis a free 2nd round pick! But then again, none of us are stupid, and realize that the way you see it is that if you aren't going to win, you might as well make sure that Demis wins since he is a nice Greek guy who is humble and doesn't talk shit, right? You really crossed the line with that move, and I'm sure you realize it.
You could have dropped Frye instead, and then dropped the guy who you picked up for Frye the next day to get the extra game. Basically you dropped Iguodala to save ONE move. Do you think it was worth it to drop Iguodala to save one move? If you win this week, you keep Iguodala. If you lose, at least you didn't shit on the league by dropping a 2nd rounder to Demis for free.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out some basic logic like that. Shame, shame. Of all people in this league, I didn't expect you to be the one engaging in shady moves like that after realizing you had lost.

Go look at his numbers, and you'll realize that you can pick up atleast 10 other guys off FA who will give you comparable stats.

YOu keep bragging but the minute your matchup started against me, with all of my injuries and none on your part, you started adding and dropping players so you must realize how tokhmi your team is (the same way I did) otherwise, why would you add and drop players?
The reason nobody picked up Okafor is that: you made sure (and go back and read that BS you said when you dropped him) that you trashed him before dropping him to ensure nobody was going to pick him but the truth was that NO was having any games for a few days and you were feeling intimidated by me so you wanted to get some points and you thought: ok so if I pick a player for each on one of those days that he is not playing the stats will be better than his and when nobody else picked him up PRECESELY for the same reason you dropped him, you loved it and picked him up again and now you are using it as evidence which is pure BS since you would not have picked him up to begin with
Masoud ham ageh 35 movesh tamoom nashodeh bood alan enghad post nemikard!
I DIDNT CARE about next week anymore. I just cared about this week and its all becasue of YOU! In terms of performance, iggy was not even in my top5 players so please dont compare him to big al and that MVP candidate Durant, masoud! Kobe, Martin, Duncan, Curry, Butler, Gasol were all giving me better numbers than AI. Dont exaggerate his importanceLast edited by persianbruin; 03-27-2010, 08:02 AM.----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

I think the fairest solution to the problem is that nobody picks up Iguodala. This is exactly the reason we lock the eliminated teams, to avoid fishy dropping of valuable players in order to benefit certain teams.
I don't think there is an ounce of doubt in anyone's mind that Shahryar's thinking was that if he's going to lose, he might as well make sure as hell that Demis wins, knowing full well that he had the #1 waiver.
We've done a good job so far this year of correcting the mistakes and keeping things running as smoothly and fairly as possible. Let's keep things that way. I know Demis doesn't want an asterisk next to his name should he pick up Iguodala and end up unfairly winning a tainted league like that.

If I wanted to "help" him win don't you think I woulda dropped Kobe or stephan curry!?

You wanted more games? You could've dropped Frye, and then dropped the guy you picked up for him to get an extra game the next day. Someone who is trying to "win" will spare 1 extra move to hold on to Iguodala in case he advances to the next round. I can't imagine that a smart guy like yourself could become this unbelievably stupid out of nowhere.
Either way, whether it was your honest belief, or just absolute pure stupidity, the rest of the league should not have to pay the price for your move. So far, all the rest of the teams in the playoffs agree as well. I'm waiting to see what Demis has to say about this before we proceed.
Playing fantasy basketball is supposed to be fun, fair and sports man like. It shouldn't feel like we are trying to regulate a bunch of corrupt charlatans. Unfortunately, we've had to deal with too many less than honest situations like this all year.

Winning the league dropped in priority and winning THIS week became the ultimate goal. I am not your other buddies in other leagues. I don't appreciate that attitude
Anyway, I'm done arguing with you because this is going nowhere, and at this point you just don't make sense any more.

After a bit of research, problem is solved:
"Can't Cut" List
A number of the best players in the game will be on this list throughout the season. When a player is on the list, he cannot be waived from a team under any circumstances. The "Can't Cut" list, which will be updated when necessary, will prevent managers at the bottom of the standings from changing the league dynamics by waiving all of their outstanding players.
http://basketball.fantasysports.yaho...ls/cantcutlist
Andre Iguodala is currently on the Yahoo default "Can't Cut" list. However, I just checked our league settings, and when Masoud made the original league, he changed our league setting for "Cant Cut" list provider from "Yahoo Sports default" to "none", which allowed any player, including Lebron, Durant, Kobe, etc. to be dropped.
We are supposed to be playing based on last year's league settings, which had the "Cant Cut" list. Therefore, Shahryar's move will be reversed while the original Yahoo "Can't Cut" list will be implemented again.
If anybody objects to this, now is the time to voice your opinion.

BUT PB, igi is just too good of a player and that would easily give someone else an unfair advantage! Yahoo agrees with us as well hence why he's on the "can't cut list"

You tell or show me when or where I ever complained about not being able to drop a certain player. I will legally change my name to Sakineh tomorrow if you can do that.
Hichkas beh to gir nadadeh. However, I will say that the current settings of the league (8 teams making playoffs, removal of "Can't Cut" list) is significantly different than the "same settings as last year" that was initially announced to begin our season. Right Masoud?

and the part about me wanting to help demis was laughable cuz honestly and I am not just trash talking like you are. I am saying what I truly believe:
demis, ommy and masoud's newly constructed team are all better than yours. I never thought you had even an ounce of chance to win which is why I was surprised at what demis was saying. You'll join me next week
plus the whole no cut list thing is only forpart of the biginning of the league, dont blame it on masoud----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts
