Most of his success was due to the fact that he succeeded in motivating every player in the team. Sure he probably has a sound knowledge of coaching from his experience as a player under coaches like Van Gaal and Cruiyf.
Barca had basically the same team under Rijkard the season before that but he couldnt manage the changing room personalities and players looked not motivated on the pitch finishing 3rd in la liga.
AC Milan has some worldclass player, I dont think they're aything sure of Barca minus Messi (because he's irreplaceable).
