Huet Huet Huet!!!! That's what we'll hear tomorrow against New Jersey. We are in the 6th position because of him. I love the guy, so calm and humble, the opposite of Theo.

It was a nice home coming for Brodeur... Have u forgotten about us already? Can't u just let in one or two to make us happy?
MTL 2 - NJ 3
NJ r in with a tie, congratz!
TO beat Philly 5-2
Atlanta beat Carolina 5-2 so both teams r still in the race.
Tampa Bay is still maintaining that 1-0 lead against the Penguins making this the worst case scenario for MTL, some tough opposition awaits us + a tie (in pts) with Atlanta @ 8 would mean that MTL won't make the playoffs, but we're still +5, so TO fans shouldn't celebrate just yet!

Jesus this is all Eastern talk...
well Nucks are putting the FU back in FUN with their 2-0 lead over Cowton(Calgary) right now. Canucks fate is in their own hands 2 games vs San Jose coming up.
That whole NE area is lighting it up, NY,Buffalo,Ottawa,Montreal,NJ...Stanley Cup winner I think will come out of the east this year. Pulling for a Canadian team.STADIO OLIMPICO, 8 FEBRUARY 2004

Teams in the NE division (and some Atlantic ones) have always been strong, with the exception of Buffalo, but they're doing really well this year. Toronto r not doing as well as they could... Boston's ex-GM went nuts and gave up two of their best players. Both teams r jampacked with overrated veterans.
Northwest is by far the most competitive division in the NHL, and I probably don't need to tell u that.
Yes, Canadian teams (based in Canada ) should work on bringing the cup home again, I've been waiting for the Canadiens 25th for 13 years now. I'm hoping we get our hands on the cup once more by 2012, so that we get our "a quarter of all NHL/NHA Cups and 42nd for a Montreal team". Poor Maurice actually lived to see the day that the habs would struggle to make it to the playoffs.
I think the Sens might actually win this year, and I'd like that. I just wouldn't want them to beat us tonight and I'm afraid if we fall to 8th we might have to go against them in the playoffs (if we make it)!

Originally posted by MuradistanSens might not have Hasek back in time, if thats the case, Sens will have a tough time but they still have the best roster so they may need to score 3-4 goals to win a game, which is alot harder come playoffs.
Amery (sp.?) is ok (2-18 so far in this game).
