some crazy results today, Romania having an absolute horrid campaign, Turkey out after an impressive Euro 08, Cyprus thrashing Bulgaria 4-1, Gekas scoring four goals v.s. Latvia in a 5-2 win , France not guaranteed a spot, Group C tightening up big time, Portugal getting lucky again

Check how the rankings and teams for second round are decided for teams that have more teams than Norway's group.

Results against the bottom ranked team in each group with more than 5 teams are not counted to decide the 2nd place rankings for 8 out of 9 groups.
