I think this is an easy matchday 3, but to make a lot of money you need upsets, so can anyone think of any upsets?

    -Chelsea/Liverpool?
Liverpool and Chelsea were crap in the weekend, but I don't see them losing at home under so much pressure from the fans/media. Liverpool might tie Lyon I think but Chelsea are too pissed to loose + losing to Aston Villa was just bad defense on set plays. But if Chelsea tie against Atletico Madrid, it's pretty good for the money.

    -Arsenal Tie?
They are a goal scoring machine, anyone know if Alkmaar has a chance to at least tie? If Alkmaar can tie at home it's like winning.

    -Fiorentina away from home?
They beat Liverpool, but if they loose or tie to Debrecen (garbage), it's a lot of money.

    -Man utd away from home?
I see them winning unless they really f up, and they can easily do that in Russia especially against CSKA moscow. A tie or upset possible?

    -Zurich?
Zurich beat Milan 1-0, can they beat Marsielle?

    -Wolfsburg - Besiktas?
Wolfsburg scored against Man Utd, Besiktas almost tied Man Utd. Besiktas upset?

    -Inter?
Inter won 5-0 on the weekend, but Dynamo Kiev are a really good team, do they have a chance to tie Inter?

i know preseason doesnt mean anything, but athletico went to anfield and won i think 2-0. they have a chance of actually beating chelsea. forlan and aguero should give that defense problems.

              here is what I think

Fiorentina will get a very narrow win in Budapest, if not tie. They are inconsistent, but if they perform 1/4 of what they did agaanst L'Pool, they''ll win and considering their recent form, they should win

Liverpool has to win. the game is @ Anfield. Lyon lost t a bottom table team @ home on the weekend. Gerrard and Torres will be back, Liverpool must win for a million reasons, they are under alot of pressure, if Lyon scores first, they will probably win, but if Liverpool scores early, I can see a big Liverpool win

              Barca will beat Rubin

Inter and Dynamo can cause an upset. true Inter destroyed Genoa, but they are not as good in Europe, plus Dynamo played very well against Barca. if you want to bet on an upset, it is a good one, a tie

AZ are doing horribly bad in Holland, I expect an easy in for the gunners, but Wenger might go crazy and field too many youngsters, still gunners should win

Olympiacos will beat Liege. It's Greece, not many teams prevail

                ^^elnino99, good observations

I think the bookies put way too much trust in Inter winning, that's why it's worth betting on a tie. I also agree that Liverpool are out for revenge, and seeing that Lyon aren't in good form + return of Gerrard/Torres, it's going to be a win.

                    so you are saying
Liverpool will lose to Lyon @ Anfield

and then again lose to MU @ Anfield

                    and again keep losing

                    and then relegate

and then have a friendly with Shamoushak and lose again

and then the club go outta busienss ??

get a grip mate, Lyon lost to Suchaux at their own stadium on the weekend. you are basically comparing Liverpool with likes of Notts County
