    Liverpool 1-2 Lyon

    CSKA Moscow ?-? Manchester United
    [will be posted tomorrow]
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    Key Encounters:
    Fernando Torres vs. Nemanja Vidic
last time around, Torres made a joke of Vidic and Vidic is looking to put up an awesome performance and shows that he is no flop in big games. Vidic was sent off in both fixtures of these 2 teams last year. we will have to see if Torres will be fit for the game, as Rafa mentions somethings about it in the post-Lyon game [Link provided above]

    Patrick Evra vs. Glen Johnson
Manchester's attacking LB goes head to head against Liverpool's attacking RB. The winner of that encounter can very well affect the final outcome of the game

    Steven Gerrard vs. Darren Fletcher

Fletcher will have to mark Gerrard. After leaving the pitch in the 20th minute tonight against Lyon, it is a question of whether Gerrard will be fit for the game or not. If he is, Darren Fletcher will be responsible to make sure that the G-Force won't see too much of the ball

    Wayne Rooney vs. Daniel Agger

after being in sidelines for 2 weeks, Rooney is expected to come back for this game. Agger has been much better than Liverpool's other CBs (Carragher and Skrtel) this season, and he will have a very tough day against the former Everton man, who happened to be a scouse Wayne Rooney

and the most important of all:
Rafa Benitez vs. Sir Alex Ferguson:
Ferguson knows that an away win @ Anfield, can very well finish Rafa off. Benitez will know it is his last chance to get the team out of the current crisis. He knows Liverpool fans will immediately forget 4 losses in a row, if his team comes up with a convincing win against their main rivals, Manchester Unied. Benitez and Ferguson don't have a good history in media and papers as they would always bash each other. It will be interesting to read what they will say before the game as the derby nears.

    enjoy

Liverpool's defending was very bad, Reina was literally the only defender vs Lyon. Rooney, Giggs, Vidic, Berbatov are not playing vs Moscow but resting for the Liverpool game.

I think the only advantage Liverpool have is that its in anfield and that it's more important for them to win or even tie it.

This will be a tight game. Maybe a 1-0 win for either or even a draw.

But I expect United to have enough in them to win once again at Anfield like they have in the past. But I am sure Liverpool will be desperate for points and will barrage us.

            I can see a draw.
If those 2 are fit Liverpool do have a good chance.

Both Teams are missing Key players Its gonna be though game , they both going to try play carefully without any mistakes ,

As a Manchester United fan missing Giggs In every game its a disappointed because right now he is the leader of the team
Usually When we are missing Ronney at least we know there is berbatov But right now both of them are missing for the next game probably

On the Other side Liverpool missing their best Striker Torres And Steven Gerrard

38 minutes to go. Gerrard has not made it to the match squad we shouldnt have used him midweek. but torres and johnson will start.
Fernando Torres and Glen Johnson are back as Liverpool take on Manchester United this afternoon - a game you can listen to live from 1.30pm GMT.
Both have recovered from injury, though skipper Steven Gerrard is not fit enough to make the squad.

Meanwhile, Michael Owen is on the bench for United. Wayne Rooney starts.

The Liverpool XI in full is: Reina, Johnson, Insua, Carragher, Agger, Mascherano, Lucas, Aurelio, Benayoun, Kuyt, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Voronin, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Degen, Skrtel.
