I just watched highlights of Iran vs. Aussie n Iran vs. USA,and it sucked, made me feel sick. but anyways, since there is no Iran, I guess we have to have a few teams to cheer for the make the tourney even more interesting:
these are my options:
Heavy Weights:
1. Germany: Ballack deserves a gold medal in his life, they are a very under-rated team with an excellent manager and some magnificant young players. plus, Schweinsteiger is my secret love
..such a shame that super Oliver Kahn doesn't play anymore
2. England/Spain: Gerrard has always been an under-achiever and I think England have a good team. after that massive failure in reaching Euro08, they need to prove themselves, but they will stand a chance eiaWnd only if, Terry, Lamps, Stevie and Rooney all stay fit for the whole tournament. Spain are a joy to watch, however a little over-rated in my opinion, but I like them too
3. Italy: they are really weak. and the reason I supported Italy from 1998-2008 doesn't play in the NT anymore (Nesta, Totti, Maldini). I won't be against them and wish them good luck, since their win in this city full of Italians = massive parties
Underdogs:
NewZealand: they will probably fail really badly, but they come from a whole different planet. will surely work their socks off with a lot of passion. they deserve our support after beating those scum Bahrainis
Egypt(if they make it): The African Turkey...gotta love the passion of their play. so much heart and determination
Honorable mentions to: Denmark, Japan, S.Korea, N.Korea (for Asia's sake), and the US

World cup draw is in 2 weeks, it's gonna be sick.
