Iran is participating in the 2009 FIVB Men's Grand Champions Cup , Osaka - Nagoya, Japan , 18 - 23 November 2009

and their first game is vs Egypt, as the tournament opener, on:
Nov 18th Japan time.

BTW, Iran's PEYKAN club, just recently reached the semifinals of the world club champs in Doha, qatar and came 4th only to really serious giants from Italy, Polnad and Russia.
no shame coming after these heavy hitters.

They were the 2nd place at the Asian Cup, so I thought they failed to qualify.

iran made it even tho they're 2nd in Asia because japan are the hosts of this Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup.
