Algeria were doing all they could to protect a fragile 1-0 lead against quality opposition in difficult cirumstances. I'm sure Iran, or any other team would have done the same with so much at stake...

...if anything, I thought the Egyptian players were a little too violent in the second half, hence all the fouls that kept going Algeria's way.
